Animes with powers?
Not sure how to explain this, but I want to know some good anime recommendations where someone discovers a new power/technique...or where they find something really unique that develops the plot, etc.

Hunter X Hunter, I watched the old version and now im watching the 2011 one. I also read the manga. I want nen now T_T.
All generic action shounen should be for you( Naruto, Bleach, One Piece). I'd recommend Hitman Reborn.

No anime is bad, very bad. If the females have big chests and all the characters look the same then it's bad.
