Dear College Students,

I know it's not the end yet but it's very close. How has your semester been? Have you made any new friends/got involved in activities? Or, was it one of your worst experiences yet? Discuss.

i still hang out with my high school bunch. tried making new friends but i'm just not a friendly person lol. i'm stuck up and like my group too much.

the only thing "bad" that has happened is that i'm nearly failing french and being extremely promiscuous this summer caught up to me

@iBeA:

Your age is irrelevant ; what did you major in? Also what college / university have you attended? These matter.

You seem to be an extremely depressed individual with self-esteem issues and becoming a cynical sociopath. Unless you're trolling.
Nevertheless, I'm sure you've been blessed with many things that I haven't been. I'm sure that the meaning of suffering would elude you completely, as your definition is probably different than mine. If you have a degree, you should be grateful. If you have a job, that's even better. Thinking of your future isn't poisonous; living only in the moment often deters our moral sense of responsibility. If you want to better yourself, there is no way to advance without looking into the future.

Terrible semester in terms of academics
I basically live in my room with my girlfriend, so that's nice
Yeah, girlfriend..... she takes up most of my time haha

@iBeA:

I've never been to college; and you seem young.

Of course they're worth taking seriously. I know of people who have dropped out of college and deeply regret it. They're 27 years old and work the same job as I do. At least I have my youth.

Some people just take things for granted. Just because you take college seriously doesn't mean you can't enjoy life at the same time. That's what gets me; people think that trying in college is actually difficult. They haven't experienced difficulties in life; they're college students.

I slacked off, skipped all my classes so i only have a 50 min class every day and still get at least a B in those skipped class and A in the attended class. Powerpoint online notes ftw.

@tuesdaymorning:

Liberal arts degree or what

Side note:

I can't believe so many kids take college so lightly even at the age of their early 20s.

I'm gunna jam in 16 hours of English labs this week and I'm gunna have to do it all at school. Yay for real procrastination.
On the bright side, I'm actually doing English homework this semester.

Oh, and my Basic Drawing class has been a lot of fun. Charcoal can be a pain. This week we're drawing shirts.

extremely easy. not much to do when I only have 3 classes, 2 of which are GEs. the thing is that classes are so hard to get so I can't take more classes.

Dear God, finals week is coming up quick.

Fortunately, I'm only taking 15 units this semester; I will never take 18 units again.

i could put on a brave face and pretend that everything's okay when it isn't as i usually do, but really i'm struggling

various circumstances/some personal barriers have resulted in me having not made any real friends (i've been here for 10 weeks) and it's really making me suffer because i feel like i have nobody to whom i can talk or even relate, not to mention that we're supposed to be looking into buying houses for next year's accommodation and i don't have any friends i could actually live with. all that on top of the fact that i'm putting off doing all of my work until the very last minute means that i'm really stressed and hating myself and considering dropping out even though i know that'd be the wrong way to go about solving my problems
not like you need to know any of this though haha cool

Haha exams.
I have final projects to finish, and I am literally killing myself staying up every night just to finish work up and make deadlines.
I have been extremely anti-social this semester because I knew I'd need that time to work, but procrastinating has been dwindling that time away from me.
I really can't wait for this semester to be over holy crap.

Well, it was my first semester in uni.. and there is so much to do. The huge amount of neverending homeworks that aren`t easy to do. I`ve met a lot of new people, but exercising has been left out, unfortunately.

Well this semester has definitely been much more stressful, and kept me much more busy than the last, but maybe thats because last semester I was a freshman lol. Can't wait till my finals are over and then break time!~ I really need one.
