Pot Usage of Average Mapler And Effects
hey guys. i think we all know that we use different potions and i think that it would be best to find the most cost efficient ones ever.
[header]Here's how I'll do my research:[/header]
I'll ask a series of questions, and you answer. Obviously, I am expecting a wide variety of answers from different levels and different jobs. I hope to find the "best" potions for each job, and the "golden ratio" of the amount of pot usage.
[b]What is your HP/MP?[/b] (if spearman/dk/drk, list HB'd stats).
[b]What potions do you buy, and in what quantity?[/b] (list the effect of said potions).
[b]What is the average damage of the monster? How much MP does your main attack use?[/b]
[b]How much do you spend and pots per repot? How long do these pots last?[/b]

I have 25k HP and 3.6k MP with HB
I get my pots from pap and events and G-potions every monday (I use Elixirs, Power elixirs and G-potions)
I usually only atk mobs of monsters at lhc/sh so I constantly recover my hp, Dark Impale uses 53MP each
I don't even remember the last time I bought potions to use, I use maybe 100 per lvl up to current lvl which is 180 - still have some 2-3k power elixirs left
HP: 7k
MP: 3k3
i craft 2k5 HP pills and 1k5 MP pills
monsters do around 1k5 damage/ main attack use 39MP, sometimes 64MP/s on WAB
spend around 1m for 800 HP and MP pills, last pretty much forever thx to the familiars, or else it wont be too long (around a week)
19k HP, 3k MP with HB at 144.
I use the 60% HP pots from NLC and have a neverending supply of 1k MP pots from a friend.
24k-ish/5k-ish with HB. Something like that. I think.
I don't buy potions. I farm occasionally and get mine from the Snack Bar and from the Ani battle event thing. So, Elixirs and Power Elixirs.
The damage from the opponent is largely irrelevant. I heal enough with Dragon Wisdom. Mp cost is all I'm concerned with, which is 50mp for Impale.
I generally farm to get about 500 Elixirs and 300 Power Elixirs at a time. That'll last me for... damn, I don't know. A really long time of regular training. I have farmed for any in a couple of months.

MP Pots : Ardentmill 2500 MP Pots. I usually make 800 at a time
16k base HP
I only use power elixirs from DRPQ xD
SH monsters hit 3k but that's not much of a problem since I have drain skillz
My main attack gives me FURY!

ice cream pop. (2000 hp) (100 of em) (i have alchemist so the effects are 1.5x)
800 from crockies 100 from bw iirc
280k, lasts me a while, but i have drain so...
I'm more a fan of pans.

I use: Baby White Monkey Familiar. Never used pots again.
everyone, please quit the trolling. I need serious answers to this question, I wish more people would take part in the survey. Potions are a big part of mapling, as it is one of the major areas of money-usage.
27.5k HP, 5.8k MP with HB.
I don't buy any potions, I live off Ani and event elixirs.
I take ~4k from Future Henesys mobs, ~1k from LHC mobs. Dark Impale costs 50mp per cast, Dragon Wisdom's drain pretty much covers most of my hp needs.
...I haven't bought healing potions in months.
I have about 3000-4000 hp on my mage
I use the guild pots because Im in a level 10 one and I get 200 per week (normally lasts me the whole week because i dont train much)
800 damage, idk MP cost
around 8m per pot run because when I get pots i get enough for like a month
-11k hp/9k mp with Max Battleship and Decent HB
-750 honsters (60%hp) 150 Mana Bulls (60% MP) Jr Boogie Familiar (Recovers 15% MP every 10 seconds)
-1.5k Damage, 40 MP Cost
-Around 2.5 mil. If I'm training, these pots last for 6 hours.
I started using pots back in 2005/2006 and now I can't stop. I dunno man, whenever I run out, I just have to buy more, even if I have to leave the party to do so. Effects so far, just a huge hole in my wallet :c
I ahve around 8k hp for a lvl 141 merc with decent HB.
I never buy potions, I either get them from events or Ani... Mercedes' Hp/Mp quick regen helps a lot as well.
The average damage of a monster for me is around 800 with Water shield on.
I have never repotted yet.
