I use W7 and sometimes Maple freezes and quits the whole game, absolutely randomly. That's only way after I start playing; it happens very often when I start Maple up, and when it loads up without trouble, then its all good for a while until a random freeze+disconnect. Any suggestions?
i tried restarting my laptop and i deleted it and put it back on from the usb coz its a copy from my main pc (shouldnt effect it tho coz it works on all my mates laptops) and it begins to start up with the logo of the evan and the loading bar down the bottom right corner but then nothing happens afterwards... it just stays on the desktop Q.Q
Hmm, I haven't try to transferred it in a long time, but I believe the GameLauncher.exe (assuming that you are running from this, since you got HShield to load) works with a registry entry base on this comment now. Before, you used to be able to run it off of the USB or transfer it to another computer like you did.

Let see. Try this. The game files back into it default location on your HDD (C:/Nexon/MapleStory). Right-Click on your Desktop >> New >> Shortcut >> Use this as the Target (with the backslash instead) : C:/Nexon/MapleStory/MapleStory.exe GameLaunching
Name the Shortcut whatever you want. Try run it from that shortcut.

If that doesn't work, you should attempt to actually install the game on the computer and see how that goes.

Hmm, either restart the computer or go into your Task Manger (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and end the MapleStory.exe process in the Processes tab.

Take it off of compatibility mode and try again. That 0x0000004 error should have told you the problem.

Also, what happen during during the first time it fail? Like any errors or whatever?
