Are Tempest rings pointless?
I was doing some thinking, and aren't Tempest rings (and the like) pointless?
In essence, they're comparable to cracked gollux rings. The difference? Cracked gollux rings are tradable and have a consistent method for scrolling

People will generally get 4 different gollux rings for the ideal end game, I think.. Tempest and pinnacle rings are used if you find an already potted one for cheap, and you're planning on keeping that character for good . Since the rings are sadly soulbound.
In a sense, you can indeed call them pointless. I'd much rather have a ring that is tradable via PSOK than a ring that is 100% untradable and rendered useless in terms of resale value.
