That's sweet. Well if you have time maybe you could write a song personally for her. If you can't make up a melody then maybe you can replace the lyrics of another song so it suits her and what you two have been through. She'll never forget it.

I don't really like slow/romantic songs, and I'm more into heavy metal and stuff like that.

Depending on where you live, this may not be that indie. xD
Oh, and I've always wanted someone to sing one of DECO*27's love songs to me, but I'm not sure how well the sugary sweet electropop would translate to guitar. Or the japanese.
Oh, and dang, how did I forget. Valentine Kiss - any freaking version. You'd think a cutesy, cheesy song like that would be bad for a guy to sing, but the Prince of Tennis character cds had so many fangirls swooning it was unbelievable. It's such a popular song, there's probably a translated, singable version out there.
