A comment in my shop from a quotGMquot
So i was merching in a permit store and i got a comment in my shop out of nowhere. This is what it said "Hello! I am GM branlenGAL! To prove please try to add me to your Buddy List. Get ready for a Legendary Hot Time event! This month, all Maplers that are registered can participate in the lottery to win up to 300k Nx! " ... and so on . At first I thought this was a lie and I didn't believe it, but then I tried to add that "GM" and it said i can't add a GM. I want to ask if anyone else got this? And is it legit? Well that "GM" posted a website on my shop but my shop got sold out before i finished copying it to here.

They wouldn't.
This is a common scam, done all the time by scum.
You were being scammed.
The web site would have said you needed to download a java update and when you clicked the link it would have keylogged you.
Was his IGN "branlenGAL", or something else..?
No, it's not legit, and this is in the wrong section.
People need to remember checking those sections.
