Doesn't matter. Just have at least a 30k range, max CL, max arcane aim, max infinity would help, max glacial chain. And the mihile link skill if you have it because it is amazing with infinity. (100% stance for 135 sec) Also, max arcane aim gives 20% pdr.

When I used to play my character I had a range under 20k for sure fully buffed (not using infinity) Shouldn't take ya too long. Anyways you will want CL and Arcane Aim as the other person said. Infinity helps a lot too btw and I'm pretty sure that if you have GC maxed it should add to you dpm

Pretty sure Hilla halves magic damage too, we just get around that with elemental reset.
@kopred98 you want at least Chain lightning and arcane aim maxed.
I was able to do it on my I/L at a fairly low level with 20k range. It took like 12 minutes because I died a lot.
The great thing about killing Hilla as a mage is she doesn't halve your magic damage, just physical.
