Actually, 10 = 100 coins. And you're only suppose to have one account. (I'm thinking the way a company is suppose to think, which is by going by the ToS that says 1 account) They also probably thought this might be a good way to give the people that complain about things like taking out the Krexel quest a chance to make some mesos. 100 coins will only buy a person 3 of those +8 att scrolls and I know a lot of people that want to scroll tons of stuff with them so it really isn't that much.
You can trade 4 tickets in for 50 coins twice, then trade 2 tickets for 20 more coins, so 120 coins per 10 tickets.

This logic is stupid. Nexon knows people have multiple accounts. EVERYONE has multiple accounts, and if you don't, you lose out big time.
And fyi, the ToS doesn't say you can't have more than one account anymore. That's been gone for ages. Invalid point is invalid.
I'm actually kind of skeptical about this.
Think about it. Look at how many Tickets are around from the Hot Times. If it really is a 1:10 coin ratio (or 1:12.5 if you trade in 4), everyone will have pretty much everything they want from the shop on the day it comes out. Isn't it a little ridiculous? I'm not sure what else they could be planning, but it's just a theory.
Skeptical about the tickets being traded in for coins?
On the days Nexon gives them out, it says you can redeem the RED tickets for RED coins in the box's description.
We were really only suppose to get 10 and we didn't HAVE to sell/trade/whatever them so I believe it is for coins since the max Nexon would have intended would be 100 coins if you got all the hot days.
If they only wanted us to get 10 then they could have made them untradeable. Even still, 10 tickets = 120 coins, which can still buy you pretty much everything you want depending on how many accounts you have.

What really annoys me is when people ask what the Black Fridays coins are for or where is the shop. >.<
