@modern:
I respect your opinion.
These 3 songs aren't all what I think of rap.
LOL. The Lupe song isn't rap, it's hip hop.

Wow. "Dance With The Devil" is a real powerful, depressing and horribly true with the nature of people. I've heard song by Lupe and... I'm indifferent to it, because I really hate "Float On" by Modest Mouse. >_____<
Also, may I just say how I do enjoy how Eminem seems to be getting back to his rapping roots. Call my crazy, but I really, really enjoyed "No Love," and it really feels like the old Eminem. Maybe that's just me, though.
Mommy Issues, Overrated, Self proclaimed "thug" with a big mouth.
Real talk.
Immortal Technique is pretty real...
I personally listen to a couple of NWA/Mobb Deep songs.
for "shoe goes on", they stole the beat from "float on" by modest mouse o.O
Thought I was the only one who noticed that.
@modern:
Andy Milonakis... I don't even know if I should take you serious
LOL PLEASE. your taste is so...
rap is rap, hip hop is hip hop.
I can find songs x10 better than your choices.
you're OP is so original TS, lmao dancing with the devil. lol. lupe fiasco sucks too.
Go ahead.
ugh...Rap hasnt been all that geat for a long time. The stuff what comes on tv and radio these days is about killing, sex, girls or talking about what i have that you don't. weith heap hooks and lame dances.
For rap music, i prefer 80's-mid 90's rap.
no its not
Dance with the devil is pretty messed if you listen to the lyrics.
music is defined by the listener, but i agree with you
@cooliee125: LMFAO, you made my day
Eminem is still the best, from Soul Intent to Straight to the Vault EP.

Lupe Fiasco is one of the real rappers.
His is a lyrical genius and no other rapper comes close to him.
Although his new album Lasers wasn't great, some of those song lyrics are meaningful and deep.

omg i have never heard of this guy but wooooooooow River Runs Deep dam dam dam its so deep dam dude am on his bandwagon now ty
Yo, Weezy's the man.
But I also like all that music.
#2 was creepy.. one of the best songs I've heard though!
for "shoe goes on", they stole the beat from "float on" by modest mouse o.O
It's called Sampling dude. they took that guitar melody and SAMPLED it for the beat.
There is such thing as original Hip Hop. "Real" Hip Hop, however, is arguable.
EDIT: FFFFFF I meant rap, not hip hop.
EDIT 2: Wait, is "REAL rap" some sort of label or something? Because both of the times you mentioned it is stylized in higher case alphabet form. But not that it matters or anything.
GOD no. He USED to be sweet, after eminem show he went from 9/10 to 4/10. He is such a commerical rapper now.
True bro. Only new songs I listen to by him now are:
1. Beautiful in Relapse
2. You're never over in Recovery
3. W.T.P. in Recovery
Now when it comes to his old stuff...
No apologies
Way I am
Till I collapse
Without me
Need I go on?
EDIT: @The guys talking about 2pac
How could you forget this song? Great flow, great beat, great lyrics; just a great rap song

Clearly you've never heard of eminem.
Exactly, and I'm just expressing my opinions.
I'm not saying they're a fact (sorry if I am)
Thanks for making that clear x]
Too bad I don't have headphones with me right now, so I can't listen to them.
"Real" rap, that's what YOU call it.
Rap isn't what the songs are about, rap is the style which people use to "sing".
