Good Maplers, Thank You. xD
So I'm sitting here, four in the morning, checking e-mails and waiting for my Maple to update, and my girlfriend wakes up just to make me some chocolate chip pancakes from scratch. We've been going out for over nine years, and I'm going to admit, sometimes when I'm driving to class or ending a call we've had on the phone, I do shed a tear or two that I am lucky to be with such an awesome person. I appreciate that she exists each and every day.
But my appreciation also goes out to the good Maplers out there who do nice things. I have taken breaks from Maplestory, but whenever I return, there are players who take that time to say Hi and catch up with me. Always. Do they have to do it? Nope. But they do it anyways, just because they're nice people.
And in all my years of Mapling, there have been so many awesome people that make the game very enjoyable because they often do things that are nice and often do the right thing. So with Thanksgiving in the U.S. coming up, if you're one of those Maplers who have always or at least mostly done nice/right things, give yourself a pat on the back because I am sure at least one other person out there has appreciation for who you are and what you do on this silly, but awesome game. This thread is for you.
To the players who are not-so-good: Let's be honest here - You probably don't mind what others think about you, and you probably don't have much self appreciation either if you stoop to such low levels that you benefit off of the annoyance of others. But for the spirit of the holidays season, I hope that you do at least consider changing your ways. Try it. Sure, Maple may be easier with what you do, but life isn't always aboout doing what is easy, ya know? xD

It really does vary from server to server. While not everyone may be a complete ass-- the general populous is in certain servers (while in other's..not so much).

In all seriousness, it's nice that you acknowledged all the good people in Maple. The sucky ones tend to blur people's general opinion on the population, there's just so many of them...
