Extract 100 level item and u should get around 3-4 crystal for 7 items and they sell about 700-1mil meso

For superior item crystals:
Do the ellin forest prequests for the boss (ephenia)
Kill Ephenia
Pick up the rings she drops
Extract the rings (though it isn't a 100% chance of getting superior item crystals

Buy all useless 90-120 weapons for 500k each then extract them.
