How do return scrolls work?
The new ones in the CS. The description is kind of vague. Do i drop it on an item and restore slots? Or drop it on a scroll then drop that scroll on an item and restore slots? Im so confused lol.

You use it on the item before you scroll it. The the scroll lands, it will show you the results and ask if you want to keep them or go back to the way it was before. If the scroll fails, both the scroll and the return scroll are gone.
I think it sounds fine, but it's basically saying that if you land/fail a scroll, it can return the item to the state it was before that one scroll landed/failed. This is primarily useful with chaos scrolling if you don't like the results.
It resets what the last scroll changed on the equip.
