to fellow maplers/smokers
So i just finished my last cigarette. After 7 years of smoking i have no choice but to quit today.
My question here to whoever has quit recently or is planning to soon is what did or will you guys do for those 3 days.
Might i add that nicotine patch, electric cigarettes, and nicotine gum don't work for me.
Just share what you guys did or any ideas you might have

Well, I'm just saying, but having one smoke takes away 12 minutes of your life. Other then that, congrats on quitting smoking (if anyone does ask, I never have smoked in my whole life).
My dad smokes but only does it once a week
My friend's mom used to smoke. When she quit, she always ate a lot of nuts to stop her urge O.O.
I just put it down and walked away. I literally will-powered my way through it, and it wasn't all that bad.
Better late than never!
keep smoking. Only 3 int 5 smokers die, meaning 2 become immortal and never die

@dwillss: Nice. Puff puff passing is the way to go.

the one thing i will never quit.
Stick to weed.
Jealous it worked for them, those e-cig cost a hefty amount back when i bought it. And thankyou sir! yes it definitely is.
Damn, I was going to suggest e-cigarettes. They seem to work on my family members who smoke.
But all I can do is wish you luck, going cold turkey is tough to do.
@invalidriot: Im craving for a twix now, so i just might have to.
Use twix as a supplement
Good job. I hate to see my mom smoke
Ya its not the best habit in the world. Hope she quits some day. I know some cities hold a yearly event for mega prizes if you quit for 3 months. Maybe that's a motivation.
Umm, I think he did, not sure, he also reduced his drinking a lot too, and seems to have a good relationship with his girlfriend, which is good I guess.
Thatd be hard quitting both at the same time, but then again for smokers they tend to go hand in hand. And of course, a good relationship is mostly always good.
