I just thought it was weird that in KMS there is a NL, a Bishop, and an Aran in the top 5 whereas in GMS its 3 Lumis, a Xenon and a DS. They seem to play a looooot more for fun than for levels/damage than most players on Basil.

Because they're Koreans they're are known to best at grinding games, and of course they're probably good at it because the mmos are originated from there.

NLs have Showdown, Bishops have 1.7x exp from HS, and Arans have Tempest. They're all excellent at training, so it's not odd that they would be in the upper levels.

I believe what you're experiencing is the "grass is always greener" syndrome. It's easy to look at KMS and see all the good aspects, but I'm willing to bet KMS players have a long list of complaints about MS as well.

if KMS has what GMS has/had in the past, you'd probably see many more level 250s in KMS
This. The games are too different at this point to even compare in that context. They have a lot of the same content, but GMS is so much easier in a lot of ways.

@Lecarde
You're completely overlooking the fact that KMS lost party play months before we did. We also had the glitched party system where you could have a 41 level gap and receive full exp on kill + full party benefits in HoH.
Our first 250 was able to make something ridiculous like 210b Exp a day or something. Lumi, 1 shotting a Kanna ridden HoH map with HS and no leech.
It's not as easy as you think. That lumi still needed 5 party members to sit in the map with him for hours without any benefit..

Assuming the lumi trains 16 hrs/day, he would consistently need a full party with him for 16 hrs/day x #days until 250 (or when it got patched, I don't remember which came first).

The afk party members gain absolutely nothing by being there. What's to stop them from joining a different party where they can gain exp from leeching? And they are burning internet bandwidth and electricity by keeping maple running, all for the sole benefit of the attacker. There's not a lot of ppl I know who would agree to this. I'm not saying it's difficult, just it's not that easy.

Our first 250 was glitching (and hacking most likely) so can that really be called our first 250? as i recall he was getting WAY more exp from the low lvl party glitch at HoH (when it was good?) and i think i seen pics of him there at least at lvl 234 or something so we know he was using it for a long time

This is not what i call our first 250 if glitches and hacks were used to do it

Yet they did sit there afk for days on end because they were there helping their friend to get to 250? Maybe you don't know people that would do that but there are plenty of people that would because they're not selfish and are happy to help out, which makes them feel good about themselves somehow, it's like people that go to cra to loot for their friends but get nothing out of it but they still do it anyway.

@Expressnless I said I didn't know a lot of ppl like that I'm sure the lumi is very thankful for his friends who helped him out, but if you ask him.. he probably wouldn't say it was easy.

to be fair, not everyone logs on MS just to train. People afk during school in FM anyway, or whenever they're busy. Plus a bigger incentive is that they are actually there to help him train, which all it takes is simply afk-ing. But then again, i live in USA where unlimited internet is relatively standard as opposed to other countries.
