Woman says she hopes Obama is assassinated

How stupid can people get? This dumb woman wrote on her Facebook calling the President the N word and saying she hopes he is assassinated.

She goes on to say that she's not racist because she has black friends.

Nope, there are "restrictions" that come with the freedom of speech. And especially in this case since it's AIMED at the PRESIDENT.
This would be considered treason against the United States and an act of violating public safety.

There have been numerous court cases which have defined the legal boundaries with use of the speech, and death threats [even if they may not be serious] are one of the restrictions.
That's not even a threat... Why is the S.S. getting on her for it?
The US Secret Service takes ANY talk of killing the President of the United States seriously. ANY President of the United States.
It's not something you joke about without consequences.

How does she not know what she did wrong? Any hinting toward assassination of a president is crime, and if it is not a crime, the secret service will find some way to get you in jail. People like this make me want to move to Canada, and honestly the pastures are looking pretty good over there.

I haven't seen a single death threat against Romney..

Also, Romney is a nobody, Obama is the President of The United States, that's why it's taken more seriously.

That law has passed.
I live under a pretty big rock called the internet, that shields me from anything important like that.
Ive heard at least 15 people say that the president should be assasinated many times during his first term
They didn't post it publicly or they'd have been visited by the Secret Service.
Threatening the President is taken seriously by men in black suits with guns.

There were actually multiple attempts made during the race, but they were all prevented as soon as word got out.
Same for Romney.
