My computer freezes randomly
So a month or so ago my hard drive started to fail, so i got a new one, didn't put any of the old stuff on it, I started completely new.
problem is my computer freezes every once in a while, and it seems to happen when im playing MS, or updating WoW, or any mix of the two along with having a browser open.
Ive done all the system updates ive gotten and the device manager said all my drivers are up to date, sooooo i dont know what to do.
I cant Ctrl+alt+del when it freezes nor can i move the mouse, but the MS music continues, to give ya a feel of what im talking about. Any help would be awesome.
and voilla, i got the BSOD..im runnning windows 7 by the way.

Either the taking out of the RAM was a fluke, or you had a memory problem on top of a malfunctioning graphic card causing it to artifact. Possibly it's overheating. Monitor your temps with HWMonitor and clean the dust inside of your computer. On top of running a Memtest86 with all the RAM stick installed.
My screen got all fuzzy like. I can see and read kinda but theres a bunch of white pixels everywhere
Yeah, hopefully, it's just the RAM, so you don't have to spend more time in figuring it out. If it turn out to be only that RAM stick that is causing your problem, I should suggest trying to put it in another memory slot. Maybe it's not RAM is that causing the problem but rather slot that it was in. If you want, you could also run a Memtest86 for an hour to see if everything is 100% ok as well.
I built the computer myself, so there is not a brand site, id have to check each piece, but i know my graphics card is up to date.
My brother said it might be the ram, i took out my second stick and nothing has happened yet, being optimistic, thats all thats wrong.
Device Manager isn't the most reliable way to find out if your drivers are updated or not. Like for example, it once said mine is updated despite that there was a newer one dated a year later from what my laptop had. I would suggest going to your computer's brand site and look up the model in the driver support area.
I'm going to assume that you can't get the STOP Code error, as it restart to fast. You could try disable [url=http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm]Automatic Restart[/url], so you can write the STOP Code error and the file that may be causing your problem. You will need to get the BSoD again though.
Another way is by downloading/installing [url=http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html]BlueScreenView[/url]. It will analyze the dump file made by the BSoD (hopefully, it did) and give you that information as well. Just highlight all of the recent BSoDs, go to File >> Save Selected Items >> Save it as a .txt file >> Open the .txt and copy and paste the info here.
