Anime

Which animes should I watch

Lately, I've been watching tons of anime with my spare time. I got done watching Elfen Lied, Death Note, and Angel Beats all this week! I love the concept behind all of those animes, and I love animes with some fighting (not too much) and a fair amount of main characters like Death Note. If anyone has heard of these three animes, can you recommend me some that are similar, thanks!
PS: Theres this one anime I heard of that's like, really boring, bc it has lawyers just doing stuff in court and stuff- that's the kinda anime I don't wanna watch -.-
Edit: Also if you don't mind, can you post a short description of the anime, thanks

I confess that the SAO light novels is way better than the anime, but the anime isn't THAT bad.
Secondly, how can all of you watch Elfen Lied? I practically passed out on the first episode due to creepiness.
Thirdly! Anime must watch list. (In no specific order.)
- Anohana
- Natsume Yujin-cho
- Bakemonogatari
- Nisemonogatari
- Blue Exorcist
- Fate/Zero
- Humanity Has Declined (Ridiculous anime but addicting somehow. o.o)

Can someone explain to me why SAO is so bad? I get that there is some skipping going on but the plot is so interesting especially after last weeks episode..
If you're looking for character development, it starts happening at episode 8 or so. The reason why they've delayed it so much is because the main story doesn't happen until 2 years after the game starts. This is why the anime feels really rushed in the first several episodes. The producers wanted to get through the side stories out of the way and quickly get into the main story. This is where you find all the character development you require
... You're kidding me right? I'm up to date on Sword Art Online, both in the light novel and the anime. Character development doesn't happen. The character itself becomes established and he skips from being from a certain level to another /higher/ level. OTP development isn't character development if you're referring to Asuna entering the picture.

Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist 2:Brotherhood.
FMA, FMA 2:brotherhood.
The only difference is, FMA doesn't follow the manga, while FMA 2 brotherhood follows the manga.
FMA Brotherhood manga description: Edward and Alphonse Elric are two alchemist brothers searching for the legendary catalyst called the Philosopher's Stone, a powerful object which would allow them to recover their bodies (which were lost in an attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy). Born in the village of Resembool from the country of Amestris , the two brothers lived there with their mother Trisha Elric. Their father, Van Hohenheim, left home for unknown reasons and years later, Trisha died of a terminal illness, leaving the Elric brothers alone. After their mother's death, Edward became determined to bring her back through the use of alchemy, an advanced science in which objects can be created from raw materials. They researched Human Transmutation, a forbidden art in which one attempts to create or modify a human being. However, this attempt failed, ultimately resulting in the loss of Edward's left leg and Alphonse's entire body.
I would stll watch it FMA then FMA 2, I prefer FMA 2 brotherhood. I like the storyline more in that one.

I second SAO haha
the anime starts off pretty slow, but it really picks up at around episode 8.

I read the light novel (up until volume 7), and it didn't disappoint me

EDIT: IDK about bleach & naruto, but one piece is really good.

You either have ADD or terrible taste in anime for liking Naruto.
Or both.

There are only two main seasons (The first and R2). The others are an OVA, and an animated picture book.

And GTO stands for Great Teacher Onizuka. Watch it now.
You must not have read the rest of the books. There's TONS of character development. All the secondary characters don't get much, but we see a lot in the main characters to come.
I'm judging the anime and exclusively the anime. I've read the light novel and I'm not going to trick the OP there's such a thing when there isn't.

@RisingRain: It's overrated because it's good. and I was recommending things to her taste. Deathnote and Angel Beats are both overrated and popular, so I recommended her overrated and popular anime that was similar to those.
Secondly, I've watched all current SAO episodes and continuing to watch SAO. I'm just saying that SAO at it's current state is NOT WORTH recommending.

I recommend Code Geass : It's about some genius who wants to make a better world for his blind sister by thwarting the government or something using a mind control power. It's got mecha.
Clannad: Slice of life genre, heartbreaking and good character development like angel beats (not much action)
It's pretty funny, because the two you recommended weren't honestly that much better. Especially loloverratedCodeGeass.
