Well, I hit base 999 STR cap a bit early imo @ lv195. Currently debating if I should add the 4 AP, and future level AP, into DEX which is currently at 4.

Well, I hit base 999 STR cap a bit early imo @ lv195. Currently debating if I should add the 4 AP, and future level AP, into DEX which is currently at 4.

I reached the str cap of 999 already.

Because he already hit the base stat cap which is 999. You can't add any more than that.
OT: Dex should be your best bet. It definitely helped me for my dex related issues to wearing empress pieces

I'd definitely add DEX.
Well, I mean, I may end up going for Empress Set at Lv200 as a future goal. With my current equips, I couldn't even equip one unless I went and bought a Rising Belt and Face Paint, which is rare to find in Broa.
So, just go with DEX to relieve myself of some "DEX" issues I may have in the near future ?
Dex is a secondary stat which can help improve damage.
Int is an extra stat which can improve the MP gained each level (but by now, it's too late for that).
Luk no longer reduces EXP loss at death so any of the three will have minimal effect.
You could add to HP/MP which will also have minimal effect by those levels, so you might as well increase Dexterity.
