EDIT: If you already have it in your inventory then it won't be able to see the drop from manon..

I went to kill Griffey again and got the Heroic Star...

To check if you're in the right one, there should be a timer in the special manon room.

OT: I'm almost positive you're not killing the correct manon. Are you even sure you've accepted the quest? Are you an explorer?(excluding Jetts) Have you killed griffey for the other item? When you enter Manon's nest for 4th job advancement there should be a red text in the chatbox saying something about hearing manon's cry.

In GMS there are plenty of people that advance to 4th job as explorers everyday and this is the first time this issue has been brought up.

I do see the red text about the Manon's cry, but after I kill manon, nothing drops.

@asdfgh3 They changed it so you can't buy the secret spell scroll anymore. Must kill manon and griffey to job advance.

OT: I'm almost positive you're not killing the correct manon. Are you even sure you've accepted the quest? Are you an explorer?(excluding Jetts) Have you killed griffey for the other item? When you enter Manon's nest for 4th job advancement there should be a red text in the chatbox saying something about hearing manon's cry.

Then I'm assuming the manon is glitched and won't drop the star, if not then there's like a small % it won't drop, and that your unlucky.

The middle one will take him to an instanced Manon which contains no Silent Crusade portal. He's killing the right Manon, but not getting the Heroic Star for some reason.

The "gate" in the blue kentaurus map, is the silent crusade gate...

When you enter manon map is there a gate? if not then its the correct map. Don't know how you can't get, its a 100% drop rate.

I think hes killing the silent crusade one. The real one would drop it on the first kill like it did for me.
