SAO isn't the best. It has crappy animation, some faces are just derpy. The story seems a bit rushed. But still, it was enjoyable. There might be a second season, but no one really knows yet.

Anways, I loved it a lot, but it's not the best for me. Maybe like, #5 in my top anime list, maybe lower.

I wouldn't say best, but it is entertaining enough to get me to power level my characters in Maple and other MMOs (actually this anime started getting me into scrolling my weapons without using 100% dark scrolls).

And saying this, once something else becomes mainstream, that anime would become "best" and so on and so on. Personally, I say that most of the Meca genre anime I've seen were better than SAO, in terms of story and events, since the last 3/4th of SAO is mainly "lovey-dovey" stuff, which I'm not a big fan of.

But the concept of the sword skills and such in SAO is unique enough to perk my interest, since most look cool, along with their names (like Vorpal Strike, Vertical Square, The Eclipse, etc.)

I loved reading the LNs for SAO, but the anime adaptation was sub-par. There's more than likely going to be a second season due to its popularity.

I've watched all of SAO that came out so far, but to say its the BEST?
I believe that's an over estimate, there are plenty of animes/manga out there that are better then SAO.
SAO is just popular, it does not mean that it is the BEST.
