It's great money. Those little mesos that drop are really underestimated. Especially when you're killing level 100+ stuff that drops ~1k per drop, and in a time of Maple when the name of the game is AoE attacks, you're talking some serious money. Attendance event has you kill 300 monsters. Let's assume it takes your 5 minutes to do this, and only half drop mesos (again assuming they're dropping ~1k). That's 150k in five minutes of doing something you were already going to be doing anyway. And I can assure you more than half will drop mesos.
its good, i had a pet dino with a magnet , and i was training at Aliens at 2x. i went from 3mil to like 5mil in a hour
