Discomfort in right shoulder

So when I do a push up hands roughly shoulder-width apart, at the top of the movement and I've almost locked out, I get this sharp stinging feeling on the top of my shoulder (around that area anyway). Also just before locking out when doing bench press, I get the same feeling. It only affects my right shoulder by the way.
I think this started 1 or 2 months ago one time when I was doing weighted push ups (legs on incline).

The point is, does anyone know what the reason could be? Or how to resolve this issue?

dont do the exercise if it feels awkward or pains
go see a doctor if its still hurting after 2 months

I screwed up my shoulder twice in the past 2 months because I didn't want to stop my set and I deeply regret it -_-

Is it your muscle or your joint? Like @LordZubin said, it may be a rotator cuff or tendonitis but basils not the best place to ask.

@SilntXLuk: I'm very sure it's not soreness, unfortunately.
@LordZubin: Yeah but I don't think it's too serious so I thought I might as well haha. Also, I can still do a backstroke/freestyle motion with my arms without pain. So unless I don't think it's RC injury, unless it could be a VERY minor form?

Either way, it doesn't affect me in my everyday life, I only get this pain SOMETIMES in my pushup/benching routines (at the positive portion of the movement).

You might be sore. If you work out day after day. You will feel the soreness. But doing workouts every other day will help you recover. For example, I work out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You shouldn't be doing major workouts each day. You could ice/hot the pain. [Icy/hot or Bengal Lotion]

I have the same pain
I tore the ac in my shoulder a long time ago
for me it went away from constantly working out
if i take a break for one week the pain will be back when I lift again

Don't ask for medical help from Basil, I believe it's one of the rules. Anyway, @aznseal is the only premed student that I know of on Basil.

From personal sports knowledge, I'd say that it may be your rotator cuff.
