Do anvil effects carry over to be re-anviled?
Say, I have a Versalmas Hat, and I anvil it to a Zakum helmet and sell it to my friend.
Can my friend use an anvil to transfer the Versalmas hat appearance on his Zakum helmet to another item, or would it take on the original appearance of the Zakum helm?

You can do it. I have anviled many Christmas hats to guildies, and I use an anviled item to anvil over to another item. Anyway, it still works as your anviled image.
EDIT: After typing anvil about 20 times you wonder if anvil really is a word. Or if that's how you spell it. IDK, I'm delusional.
