Gamestop : Can you trade in opened games?

I've had one of my games that costs 40 dollars since yesterday and I played some parts of it and dislike it.
Can I trade the game in for some store credit or something?
I still have the receipt and it hadn't had been 7 days yet.

I think this is your best shot.
They buy games for less than half the price. Its beyond a rip-off.
I was told that you can't.

Same thing happened when my mom bought me the Epic Mickey game that came out. -_-

EDIT: Tried to sell a $50 game at GameStop. They told me they could give me about $5. No more than $10. GameStop is a rip-off. They try to sell pre-owned games for about $5 less and they try to give me $40 less than what the game was worth.
This. GameStop is the suck when it comes to selling games and buying used games.

The only thing you can with it is just sell it for 10$ or less?

Gamestop is a rip off

I traded this one PSP game that I got for 20$ and they offered 1.24$ instead
and then I traded Pokemon fire red for gameboy and got 15$

Kinda screwed up system.

OTretend something is wrong with the game and then they have to give you a refund

You will not get a refund if the game box has been opened. Just look at your receipt.
