Clean slating failed hammers?
I tried using some free 50% hammers on equips I really really wanted them to work on, yet I failed all six hammers. Can I use 20% slate scrolls to get them back cause I really want to use some 40% Inc Chaos Goodness on them before I EE anymore.

If a hammer fails, it adds a "failed slot" and takes a hammer slot. The failed slot it adds can be recovered using clean slates. So yes.
Ok thanks guys ^^ I just really wanted to get at least another 8-12 ATT on my Nova Capes/shoes before I continue EEing them so I can get way more stats.
That depends on how many unsuccessful upgrades you have. If you have 7 slots, and only 2 scrolls worked, then you can clean slate to try to get some of the 5 failed slots back.
If that's considered a scroll then yes. But I'm not sure you can.
