Skype on the iPhone

Maybe its just me or a bug.

Google doesn't really help either, so I'm turning to basil. LOL.

For those who use skype on the iPhone, are you able to unhold/resume your skype call?
It said to tap the hold icon thingy to unhold/resume, but it didn't work for me.

So, does anyone else have this issue, or is it just me?

Thanks!
I can tell you this; having the iphone switch between audio inputs and outputs is asking a lot of it. Try using FaceTime and doing ANYTHING else on the phone. You can't, facetime eats up like 80% of the phones processing power. I'd stick with maybe muting the call or calling the person back if you need to make a phone call, etc. Unless you absolutely have to put it on hold. If you receive a phone call during a skype call, it should auto-resume the skype call when you re-open the app however. Other than that, meeting with an Apple Genius maybe?
This is honestly so true. I used to be an avid FaceTimer before I got my Galaxy Note, and my phone would crash ALL the time after a few weeks/months, and began to bug out a lot even when I wasn't using FaceTime. When I sought out for Customer Support I was told not to run background programs and browse the internet while FaceTiming, Skyping, and using other Video-Related talk apps.

In reference to the Jailbreaking comments - My phone was Jailbroken and replaced. I went through my AT&T Insurance rather than through Apple. However, Jailbreaking it didn't resolve any issues I had. I just really wanted an SNES Emulator on my phone, so I wouldn't say Jailbreaking the phone is really worth it unless you're looking to do something very specific (free games, game hacks, emulation, etc.)

My warranty lasts until my contract is over, which not for another 8 months. hahaha.
but you never know what happens, accidents happen all the time!

i rather be under warranty than risk anything

its not trying to do another things whilst in a skype call. its just accidently have siri pop up or accidently start playing music and it takes it to hold @.@
but i guess waiting for the next update is the best.

Doesn't jailbreak void the warranty?
OT: Most of the time for me, I can unhold but I have to be somewhat fast about it. If I hold the call for too long more often than not it just drops the call.

@bbyaii: probably lagging? I guess? the only thing I can think off is just wait for the next update :S it should just be a bug
ummm, have you tried reinstalling your skype app? OR another way is that you can restore it. Jail breaking can be another way but if you updated to the latest one, there isn't any yet, rumors say that it will be tomorrow
