And I remember everyone calling me a noob way back in the day. because my Original sader was an axe user. They used to do more dmg generally, but had a wider range of damage. So if you hit low, you hit low, lol.

Axes look more bad ass

Speed may differ between them, because axes are normally slower than swords on any tier or level.
Although, there's 'Fast' speed axes around as well that are the same as swords, such as the Alien Axes and the lvl 130 + ones.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about the slash/stab damage ratio; however that has also changed. In short, they are the same except for the speed.

Swords sell easier though. If you're gonna use an axe, I prefer 1h so at least you can sell it to a DS if you're done with it.

That's so pre-bb. They're both the same range and damage wise.

Only difference is that most of the 1h axes got 'Normal' speed, while all 1h swords have a 'Fast' attack speed.
