So how many hits per seconds do Xenons actually hit these days after the snipe buff?

14.1667 hits/sec for attack speed (2), 15.45 hits/sec for (1) and 17 hits/sec for (0).

This is as of right now in GMS, not taking into account the additional 30ms delay decrease in KMS Reboot.

Xenon's max potential didn't really change, it's just easier to reach that limit now with Snipe rather than having to fund further to cap on Beam Dance.

Does this take Triangulation and Aegis into account?

840 ms delay, at fastest speed 0 comes out to

(10/16)*840 ms= 525 ms => 540 ms delay

Inverting gives us 1.85 Snipes/second

Snipe deals 6 full power lines and 6 lines at 70% power because of Manifest Projector. That adds up to 1.7*6 = 10.2 full power lines.

Therefore you deal 18.87 full power lines per second.

Triangulation is another half a line or so per second, Aegis has a cd of 1.5 seconds and fires 3 missles. However the missles are fairly weak, I would estimate they add approximately another half a line every second. Taken in combination, Snipe+Aegis+Triangulation+Hypogram brings Xenon's effective hps up to around 20 full power (primary snipe) attacks/second, which is roughly 1 B dps if you're just barely capping.

Of course you can continue to increase Hypogram and Aegis damage, but the returns are rather minimal. It takes roughly 5 M clean range to cap Snipe on CVel, which results in 10-20 M Aegis/Hypogram lines. Doubling your range by upgrading to 10 M will only result in an approximate 50 M additional damage per second. It's much better to just stop upgrading when you cap snipe.

Thank you for all the info. Just wondering, where does the 10/16 come from?

It's part of the skill delay formula.

skill delay * (10+ att speed)/16 = boosted skill delay

Since we're talking about the fastest possible att speed 0, it simplifies to 10/16.

Is that formula universal?

@axnslicer: Does it ever go below 0?
Tried, it doesn't. No matter how many speed boosts you stack, you stop getting faster at 0.

Is that formula universal?
I believe so, excepting hurricane style attacks, though it's not my specialty. I only ever looked up the formula with regards to the classes I play.

@dreadia Triangulation isn't taken into account, its dpm contribution is pretty much insignificant when using Snipe, most of the time, it takes at least 10 snipes for it to activate even once.

@axnslicer I believe Snipe's base delay is 930ms for Xenons currently in GMS, is it not? I think the 840ms was just a typo by Nexon on the Patch notes.

It doesn't add up ingame when testing # of attacks per minute, Snipe's too slow for it to be 840ms.

So it's not 840?
