Questions about Dfo

1) why is the game and PvP so empty nowdays?

2) why does nobody chat in game?

3)whats the cheapest way to get weapons that are costly to reinforce to +10?

I've been thinking of just joining DnF through the Korean servers. It'd amaze you how much stuff they have that our version hasn't patched in. Max level is now 85 there, they revamped the classes like twice, they released Female Slayer, TWO new dungeon areas (or more), and Slayers now have second awakening.

Our version was only like maybe 2 patches or so behind them. Now we've got to be like 5 or more...

The game might as well be dead now. Like I said, they haven't patched for like 5+ months and it doesn't help that the game isn't exactly popular over here. They've even came out on places like Twitter replying to the community saying "The situation isn't too good, but it is what it is". Basically, they're waiting for a big update (maybe the level 80/85 cap+ Female Slayer) to release maybe spring or summer. But if you ask me, they can't wait... this game is on life support.

@sohee: It's either on par with, or higher than Maplestory in popularity for Korea. It's been dropping, but it was at one point the biggest money maker for Nexon Korea.

1) Because Nexon doesn't express much care towards the game, or patching it. They haven't had an event since BEFORE Christmas, and the last actual game-related update was over 5-6 months ago.

2) Because it's a game where you can honestly solo every dungeon till max level. Then the only reason you need to talk is for Outers, or raid-ish situations. Since all the training spots are inside instanced dungeons, I guess the community feels like it's a purely business relationship. I think the chat system isn't as optimized for crazy social interaction anyway.

3) Just farm gold as best you can. It's actually pretty easy to make gold just by running full dungeons + selling trash equips (do not buy gold cards in the reward screen either).
