Petition to ban religious threads on chat island.
UPDATE: I am going to log off for a while. Keep signing and I'll update the list when I get back.
The same religious debates pop up multiple times a day. There is only a small group of people who get involved in these threads, and it's just the same people arguing for pages and pages, every time. No one has an open mind in these because everyone is convinced that they are right.
This thread is to speak for people who have had enough. Add your name to the petition to end these threads for good.

stop getting into debates and stop grasping for attention
just don't look at the threads if they bother you, because there's no way we can legitimately ban some kinds of threads without just placing a blanket ban on anything remotely offensive...and that would be terrible.

If you don't want to see them, don't participate. Speaking just for myself, those threads have influenced me a lot and influenced many of my views. If you don't want to participate then don't, but don't ruin it for those who get something out of it.
