I needed a C in my Spanish Class to get into a UC(University of California).
I got a C during the 1st quarter and a C during the 2nd quarter, so i was really stressing. I studied a good amount, but not an enormous amount.
Today I found my grade.....70.32%!
I barely slipped by, but man, I'm going to actually work hard the 2nd semester so I'm not in that situation again.
Getting a C doesn't mean i get into a UC, but it at least makes me eligible.
Can't believe i survived, sigh of relief....
So any Juniors in high school who heard the saying "Senior year doesn't matter", just ignore it and work hard, because I almost became uneligible for a UC.
Don't want to be in that situation do you?

I agree with above you just have to be diligent and work hard, being smart is mostly for tests
You are eligible to apply to a UC, but it's not guaranteed that you will get in the prestigious ones though. However, If you have at least a 3.0+gpa, I'm sure you can get in UC RIVERSIDE and UC MERCED.
I'm not a C student, more of an B to A minus, i just really messed up.
Well everyone says that if u get a D, they will cancel your application.
