My sister is very moody
I'm serious.
Yesterday afternoon after work, I was in the kitchen working on a carrot cake. I was about to put it in the oven when my sister came home.
She had a scary expression on her face and she stomped over to me and began ranting about work like she always does.
I was tired so I wasn't really up to hear it today. I told her politely, "Hey can we not talk about this?"
Then the dialogue pretty much went like this:
Her: "What do you mean?"
Me: "Work, you always talk about how bad it is. Can we talk about something else?"
Her: "No, let me tell you about this one patient-"
Me: "No, it's okay, I don't really want to hear it."
She tried to bring the topic up again and I got pretty pissed.
I told her, "No, I don't want to hear your rant about work. I work two jobs and I never complain about work to you, can you please show me the same courtesy?"
Then she got really mad and threw her lunch bag across the kitchen. It hit a cup of pens and a tub of almonds as it hit the floor. The whole house went pretty much silent (my parents were at work). I actually started chuckling and asked, "Wow, really?"
Yeah, not a smart move. She got even madder and called me a... well, something along the lines of "you're a xxxxxxx, I can't even talk to you about work? Fine, then I won't talk to you at all!"
She took a nap and woke up three hours later, came up to me and said, "Aw sorry Sam, I didn't mean what I said earlier. I still love you!"
I was like... wtf?
I wish she would move out. She's 26 years old, I think it's about time.
But I really think she needs help. Therapy, drugs, anything.

...but she can't cook! D:
@Acousmatic: It just feels like I'm listening to the same story everytime though
My mom talked to her about it too and my sister reacted the same way minus the lunchbag throwing.
But alright, I'll try to be more understanding even though it's painful, I guess I can somewhat block her out, smile and nod.
@Above: Lol yeah it did, mr. bot changed it so it would "attract more readers."
