So anyone in Mardia with two brain cells to rub together has noticed the super megas and heard from the grapevine: there is a new type of account hack [packet editing is suspected] in which a hacker can get your account info by being in the same map.The hackers are currently in the FM and have been D/C hacking people out of FM spots. Whether this is lies or not I do not know. It is also said that DoctorJesus, one of our lv 200s for all of you non-Mardians, has been hacked by these kids already. I present to you an interesting theory.
What if these aren't FM hackers, but instead people paid by Nexon. With the threat of being robbed just by entering a map, people will panic and rush to the cash shop to buy item-locks [coincidentally just added, I might add]. With this, nexon will have a boost in cash shop sales that was not expected(or was it), because Item locks are kind of useless(no offense to anyone who uses them). While I don't think this is what happened at all, it was an interesting idea that one of my friends brought u and I expanded.
6663636: Id like to point out that hacking accounts by packet editing is ILLEGAL and nexon obviously WILL do something about it. This is similar to hacking Nexon's system to give yourself 100000000000000000000K NX. Anyways, im sure this is just a hoax. It is VERY VERY VERY hard to access nexon's account database through packet editing. Whenever something bad happens, everyone assumes packet editing.
All I know is DoctorJesus and Dannnnoooo got hacked, and well as DiTo- whatever his ign is, all on the same day. There are people running around claiming they can hack you. Like I said, packet editing is something my friends have thrown out there, I don't really know any of that stuff and I can admit it. People are getting d/c'd and their accounts are getting stolen so whatever it is, someone needs to fix it.
As scary as that may sound, i don't think this information is very liable, it could always be an excuse to those who have shared their account info and got hacked so they can get a roll back. So they start pointing fingers at other people and start creating rumors such as what this one may be. But then again by being on the same map as someone in FM for example...would mean being on the same map with at least 10 people. How would they randomly pick and disconnect the account they want in specific? Once again be careful this could just be a fib or an excuse.
look what you just wrote. Half of the Id is unblocked, that leaves number of characters, a-10 available. The password is already down to how many digits available. Someone cracked my password and it was cap sensetive 10 *'s and had numbers/letters.
I dont think, actually I kow that isnt possible.
Someone might have found your email out and sent a reset, ur your password was something stupid like 1337 or something close to you. Yes, that was a example. We all know the ID is basil.

and me d/c'ing randomly earlier while in amoria after visiting fm 10 mins prior and the last time i've d/c'd randomly was months ago when fm d/c'ing was a big issue accounts for something.

I also would like to point fingers at all those messo buyers, that can always be a way of being key-logged and clearly it's worked in the past, so whether sharing your account or not that can always be an option.

I may not be in Mardia but I am playing the same game, so whatever does happen in Mardia can affect me. What more, if you had the decency to properly read what i said, this is not flame just simply stating another theory.
