 What if these aren't FM hackers, but instead people paid by Nexon. With the threat of being robbed just by entering a map, people will panic and rush to the cash shop to buy item-locks [coincidentally just added, I might add]. With this, nexon will have a boost in cash shop sales that was not expected(or was it), because Item locks are kind of useless(no offense to anyone who uses them). While I don't think this is what happened at all, it was an interesting idea that one of my friends brought u and I expanded. AFK, selling some ilbi in the fm <3. Replies

Hi speel :D, And omgawsh didn't realize hacking issues were this serious. At first I thought they were just rumors. Let's cross our fingers and hide our selves in the mini dungeons... i have been told that nexon will do roll back what means all trades that have been done will back so its mean i get my kanzir back. i hope so... You cant protect yourself technically.
The hack is a change channel hack made by a couple of ex-maplers, clearly its been leaked/distributed. EDIT: I shouldn't post how it works really... Ask anyone who was hacked, they dc'd after cc'ing, the hack basically hijacks your char during the cc process. iEsploadY00h: lol - item locks. Though Nexon can get SUPREMELY SUED for doing such a thing, it is interesting to think about. There is no law on the internet, everything in the internet is an individual province. All are dictatorships. And more and more corporations are taking over our sacred land. is going to be rollback?

There's nothing going on. Packet editing cannot get your account info. It certainly wouldn't allow you to just "jump" into someone else's account as people have claimed. The only way any of this is even remotely possible is if it was someone inside of nexon (which is bs), or someone who is an insanely smart hacker who hacked into the Game files somehow (i'm not even sure how possible this is and why someone would waste their time destroying a little-kids game).
I'm in mardia. I've been training the whole time this "hacker" thing was going on. I havent once been hacked,threatened to be hacked, d/c'ed, or asked to come to a private fm spot. It's not possible, it DIDNT HAPPEN. Please stop panicking, I'm gonna go and keep training my mardia outlaw, have a great day. You are wrong.
You know, your player ID can be retrieved from packet editing. Its what identifys you and your equips, it is sent to everyone so they can see you. When you change channels, you log out of the current channel and log into the new one. When you do this, you log in using your PLAYER ID and nothing else. So the hacker can predict where you are going, and cc while changing his player ID to yours. That's why they target popular guilds/funded people/high levels in FM, because they commonly cc upwards by 1 or downwards by 1. Easy to predict. And if one of the 20-year-olds we have playing MS ever found out, got evidence, and leaked it, Nexon would get sued and shut down.
No, they would not risk that. And if they were planning it, it would be across all servers, not just Mardia. I was just thinking about coming back too =[ Doctorjesus i remember seeing him around alot sad he got hacked lol.
Yes, many people including me think it was nexon hacking us.. so we buy item locks.. but i think that item locks should be for free.. i was one of the hacked ones as well and i lost 1.3bill in mesos.. so im hoping for a roll back.. hopefully it wasnt nexon and hopefully ima get my items and meso back
it's GMS World Wide... I just lost 1 bill tnx to the hacker so called " FMforLife" in BRoa and another hacker tried hacking me again today shouting out "selling white Rac mask 80mil" i traded hm and he told me to cc 17 and that's when i knew he wanted to hack me
