As expected of any great Magicians, Blaze Wizards posses powerful magic. They can call on Ignis, the spirit of Fire, to fight with them. They can also merge with Ignis to release massive fire magic. Those who always strive to better themselves and are wary of self and enemy can become a Blaze Wizard.

Once there talk to him, and then to your Knight Commander. After talking to her go all the way to the right (at the other end of Ereve.) At the last there should be 4 floors with arrows on the side. Go up to the second floor, and enter the room. In there kill the enemies and collect 30 'Proof of Tests.' When your done go back and talk to your Knight Commander. There you go your done. It will be Neinhearts; it seems that a member of the Black Wing (the Magical Transformer) has transformed into a Knight Commander, and has stolen a certain treasure! First go over to Neinhearts and get a Search Warrant from him. It will cost 1 Dark Crystal, and expires in 24 hours. Now let's get searching; look in all of the portals through out the Training Forest and you'll find him. He will look like your Knight Commander and will only be saying "..." When you do find him, talk to him and he will fight you. Defeat him, and collect the treasure he drops. Go back to your Knight Commander and you'll be done with the quest! You'll get 1 Skill Points, and a 3rd Job Book. This place is pretty good, good spawn, flat map, and you can even get a 60% Glove for Attack Scroll here to. Water Goblins: 31%/Hour, low chance of dieing, and gain slight mesos. This place also isn't great EXP/Hour but is less frustrating than Mountain Cliffs (or just requires less skill) and you'll gain a bit of mesos here. Selkie Jr./Slimy: 46%/Hour, low chance of dieing, gain decent mesos. I would recommend this place the most if you are a Level 60+ Blaze Wizard. Though you'll have to chance channels a few times to find a grinding place. Big thanks to FreeWii4Mii and 4thJobSeries Q & A Q: Does A: No, you do not need Skill/Mastery books. You do the quest at level 100 and 110 to get them, and there Max Level will automatically be 20. Q: Why is Build A - Slow recommended over Build B - Fire Arrow? A: Q: Can you raise A: No. Q: Can you use books like these to get more skills for a Blaze Wizard? A: Nope. Q: Can I do New Leaf City's quest that gives a Glove for Attack scroll? A: Nope, not even with Q: Sweet, I just made my 3rd Job Advancement! Where can I get Meteor Shower? A: Now hold on there! You have to wait until level 110 to get Meteor Shower Updates Last Update: January 31, 2010. Credits to.. Basilmarket. Everyone who helped with the guide. Everyone else for supporting this guide. Use Ginger Ale (75% HP/MP recovery) at Kents.
It would be better to train at Wind Raiders for a while until your Flame Gear is at least lvl 22. gotit: haha i reli like how u put the pitucres that really neat =p thou i also agree with like 99% of maplestory comunity and say that sprite should be the first thing u add, u should at least put that as an option or coment on that matter but other than^^^ i think this is a really good guide, nub friendly :D You don't really need it, since the quests on the island shoot you up to 13, where you get your magic claw at the level of 14, so you want to shoot up your magic as high as you can 4thJobSeries: Thnaks MrAero. And to BlazingChees don't go to Blue Kents, if you look at my post there is a better spot. Go to Booper Scarlions. Use Mana Bulls and Supreme Hotdogs. Sorry about the question but how do you get to Malaysia? nvm but thx Listing: 2x Family Rep
4thJobSeries: Alright this isn't a real top 10, just 10 places I attempted to grind. Here are the results (Oh and don't try Typhons it's too early and good luck surviving Gobies w/ those Bone Fish around): 10th: Nightmares/Dead Scarecrows @ Piano Room: 20%/Hour, -51Kmesos/Hour, Very Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: Esther Shield 9th: Gryphons @ Mountain Cliffs: 18%/Hour, -225Kmesos/Hour, Very Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: 70% 2H Sword Atk, Yellow Umbrella Note: The reason this is in 9th and not 10th is because I am very bad at grinding here, I believe w/ the right method this is better than the current 10th place spot 8th: Samihos/Water Goblins @ Vanished Village: 26%/Hour, -155Kmesos/Hour, Very Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: 60/70 Overall Luk, DC Ores, 60% Staff M.Atk 7th: Hoodoos/Twisted Jesters @ Vanity Room: 27%/Hour, -208Kmesos/Hour, Very Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: Mighty Bullet, Esther Shield 6th: Roids/Neo Huroids @ Lab - Area C-2: 27%/Hour, 145Kmesos/Hour (only place you'll gain mesos while grinding (not including drops)), Extremly Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: DC Ores, 60% GFA (I got a 60% GFA during my 10 minute grinding session =D) 5th: Dual Ghost Pirates @ Hidden Street Unbalanced Time: 36%/Hour (now we're talking), -1.76m/hour (a bit more % costs a lot!), Very High Risk of dieing (I died just trying to test it out), Notable Drops: Steelys, 60% Cape Int, Vital Bullet, Many Level 80-90 Equips 4th: Selkie Jr.'s/Slimys @ MP3: 35%/Hour (yup MP3 is still good at 70), -66Kmesos/hour (much better than Dual Ghost Piarates making this spot preferable), Very Low Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: Steelys, DC Ores, Lv80 Thief Top and Bottom Note: I grinded here a while so I'm used to the method, if I was at Dual Ghosts this long I could probably get around 41%/Hour there 3rd: Windraiders @ Lower Ascent: 42%/Hour (That's what I'm talking about), -246Kmesos/hour, Moderate Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: None (lol) Note: When I first started here I lost like 1m/hour but I learned how to grind here better so don't think this place isn't a pot burn at all 2nd: Blue Kentaurus @ The Area of Blue Kentaurus: 50%/Hour (No wonder everyone talks about it), -1.97m/hour (OUCH PoT Buuuuuuuuurn), Very High Chance of dieing (but not as high as Dual Ghost Pirates), Notable Drops: [Mastery Book] Ifrit 70%, Glaze Capsule, Many level 80-100 equips 1ST: Yabber Doos/Booper Scarlions @ Malaysia Fantasy Theme Park 2: 51%/Hour, -1.14m/hour, High Risk of dieing, Notable Drops: Unkwown Note: The Booper Scarlions are weak against fire have 28K HP and give 1250 Exp. At Level 70 I hit them 95% of the time I believe. On the top platform just kill away like you would at Kents, at the middle platform lure to the left where there is a safe spot where you can kill them w/ out taking damage (this is why the Pot Burn is less than kents (and they do less damage)). The problem is the bottom has these Yabber Doos which don't have a great EXP/HP Ratio but I assume you gotta kill them to improve the Booper Scarlion Spawn. On my very fiirst try and killing in a rotation including te Yabber Doos I pulled 51%/Hour. I could easily get 56%/Hour next try making this better %/Hour than Kents and less of a pot burn! Hope this helps w/ your guide. Basically as a level 70 if you can handle a pot burn go Booper Scarlions. If you can handle a small Pot Burn go Windraiders and if you can't handle a pot burn at all stick w/ MP3. Also I wouldn't do Gobies till later, and Typhons are out of the question for a bit. Btw I was exactly Level 70 so I used Fire pillar since Flame Gear was only Level 1. I swear i've never spent more than 1.5m per LEVEL anywhere i've trained (and i've trained in places more extreme than blue kents) New Pic: Level 100
FreeWii4Mii: I swear i've never spent more than 1.5m per LEVEL anywhere i've trained (and i've trained in places more extreme than blue kents) What is your secret (lol)? I'm getting better at Booper Scarlions since there's a safe spot but w/ Kents I basically lose over 1K a second. 4thJobSeries: What is your secret (lol)? I'm getting better at Booper Scarlions since there's a safe spot but w/ Kents I basically lose over 1K a second. Well, the place (kents) gets a lot easier if you have even a low level of fire strike, because of its very long range and the fact that it passes through terrain. What I did when i trained there was teleport to one end of the ground/platform, attacking everything once to make them follow me. Then I dropped a flame gear at the base of a rope and climb on, which will set all the kents on fire. After that, I jump down so that i'm facing the end of the platform and teleport back and forth while casting fire strike (minimizing damage). This method actually gets less effective the higher level flame gear you have, because the gears will linger after the mob is dead and set spawning kents on fire, so you'll accidentally kill some while luring the next time you're on that platform. Using this, i spent no more than 1m on pots (about 500 ginseng roots) every level. New Pic: Level 100
u no its better to have an explanation after each skill build otherwise some ppl mite no y u have to do this and that
May I add that the skele mini dungeon, The restoring memory, is also a decent spot if spots at peak are full due to some event. There some safe spots and places where gear can be placed properly.
This simple diagram shows the route, safe spots, and places to place the gears. On the bottom, mob up the skeles and place fire gear below the rope. The place where the mini dungeon is has no skeles! What MP pots should I buy? Having 2159 MP.
Thanks. MrAero: What MP pots should I buy? Having 2159 MP. Thanks. Sorcerer Elixir should work until you cna use Mana Bull. When training at Peak should I gear 2 ch or more? How important is getting Fire Strike early? It sounds more useful than Flame Gear yet the build I'm following I'm suppose to max Flame Gear first. Do you should I max them both simutaneously? Also if I were to max Gears first should I use Fire Pillar/Flame sprite to lure enemies to where I want. Then set a Gear, then spam Fire Pillar while they are burning? I geared 2 ch at Peak from around 88 to lv 100 with no problem, but towards 95 (as your accuracy goes up) you'll feel that 2 channels is too little, at which point you can move to 3 or even 4 (if you can hold that many). Personally, I used 2 channels because i didn't want to hinder other people, and it's easier to defend 2 than 3 or 4. 4thJobSeries: Thanks =). Also if I were to max Gears first should I use Fire Pillar/Flame sprite to lure enemies to where I want. Then set a Gear, then spam Fire Pillar while they are burning? Getting fire strike early is totally optional, and in my opinion it's much better for kents because you don't have to be in a mob to hit it. The amount you get is your choice (i got it 13 to more or less match fire arrow's damage), but you can stop it when its base power reaches 80 (fire pillar's power) or less if you want. Luring enemies should be done with magic claw if you have lower accuracy because it hits twice. After you hit most of the time, fire strike proves useful because it travels a long distance through multiple enemies. When you have max gears, you let the gears do your work. After setting your gears (note you do not need to lure, enemies will walk into them by themself), jump on a rope and change channel. Clear the area of weakened monsters while setting new gears down to replace the ones that have disappeared. Change channel, rinse, repeat. New Pic: Level 100
Just wanted to thank ya for posting this guide
It helped me out alot I might as well post here since we can't make new threads atm:
How is it with Flame Wizards and Zakuming? What does one need to think of? Do I use Ifrit/Meteor? Or just spam Fire Strike? Page: [1] ... 64 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 68 | 69 | 70 | 71 | 72 | 73 | 74 | 75 | 76 | 77 | 78 | 79 | 80 | 81 | 82 | 83 ... [89]
