As expected of any great Magicians, Blaze Wizards posses powerful magic. They can call on Ignis, the spirit of Fire, to fight with them. They can also merge with Ignis to release massive fire magic. Those who always strive to better themselves and are wary of self and enemy can become a Blaze Wizard.

Hello everyone it's me Papulatus! This is my first guide, and it's about, yep you guessed right, Blaze Wizards! It will gives you information on Skill Builds, where to train, how to make your job advancement, and about their skills.

Creating a Cygnus Knight

Log into you account.

Click on "create a character" and choose Cygnus Knights.
Decide on your Knight character's name and features, then click on "OK."
Now you are a Cygnus Knight who will defend Maple World!

Ability Points

• If you want to be LUKless then just add all of your AP into INT.
• If your going to be RegularLUK then just keep LUK at your level +3.
Noblesse

• Make sure to max Three Snails.

Intro of the Blaze Wizard

Improving Max MP Increase: This skill boosts up the amount of increase on MaxMP after each Level UP, or AP used on MaxMP.

Magic Guard: Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit.

Magic Claw: Use MP to attack an enemy twice. Has the element of Fire.

Magic Armor: Temporarily boosts the weapon defense by blowing magic into the armor.

Flame/Ignis: Summons the Guardian Fairy to attack monsters nearby.

1st Job Advancement: Ok, first things first! Let's get our job advancement! This is pretty simple :P. Once you reach level 10, go talk to Ninehearts on Ereve. After talking to him talk to any of the 5 Knights Commanders (in this case you should talk to 'Oz' to become a Blaze Wizard.) That's it, and now onto the build!

Level 10: 1 Improving Max MP Increase (1) DO NOT ADD THE POINT INTO MAGIC CLAW. WITH THREE SNAILS YOU WILL BLOW THROUGH THESE FIRST COUPLE LEVELS.

Blaze Wizard

Fire Pillar: Inflicts fire damage on nearby monster. It can be applied to attack up to 6 monsters. Animation.

Fire Arrow: A Fire Arrow is generated using magic and is shot at an enemy. It is especially effective on enemies with ice attribute. Animation

Elemental Reset: Make all Elemental Attack to Non-elemental Attack for a given duration. Animation.

Spell Booster: Uses up a significant amount of HP and MP to increase the attacking speed for spells.

Meditation: Meditate for a bit to temporarily boost up the magic attack of party members around the area.

Slow: Temporarily slows down the opponents around you. Can't use it on them twice at once, and affects only 6 enemies per attack.

Teleport: Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map on a set distance. The higher the skill level, the less MP you spend.

2nd Job Advancement: Now lets get our 2nd Job Advancement! It's the same as any other 2nd Job Advancements. First, after you level up to 30 a light bulb will appear over you head. It will be Ninehearts; tak to him, and then go to Ereve. Once there talk to him, and then to your Knight Commander. After talking to her go all the way to the right (at the other end of Ereve.) At the last there should be 4 floors with arrows on the side. Go up to the second floor, and enter the room. In there kill the enemies and collect 30 'Proof of Tests.' When your done go back and talk to your Knight Commander. There you go your done. Congratulations your done, and now on to the build.

Advanced Blaze Magic

Flame Gear: Temporarily creates a wall of fire near the character for a given duration. The monsters inside the wall continuously receive damage. Just like a Fire/Poison Mage's Poison Mist except it has a different look, and burns the enemy instead of poisoning them. Animation!

Fire Strike: Throw huge fireball to attack up to 6 monsters. Animation.

Meteor Shower: Summons the meteors from space to this land, showering up to 15 monsters at one time with meteors. Incurs tremendous fire-based damages to the attacked. Animation.

Ifrit: Temporarily summons Ifrit, who is fire-based. Attacks up to 3 monsters.

Seal: Seals up the enemies around you for a certain amount of time. Once sealed up, the monsters can't use attacking skills, but the skill does not work on boss monsters.

Elemental Resistance: Gains a higher tolerance for all Elemental Attacks (Ice, Lightning, Fire, Poison) from the enemy.

Element Amplification: Increase all Magic Attacks by using more MP.

3rd Job Advancement: After getting to level 70 (congratulations) the light bulb will, again, appear over your head. It will be Neinhearts; it seems that a member of the Black Wing (the Magical Transformer) has transformed into a Knight Commander, and has stolen a certain treasure! First go over to Neinhearts and get a Search Warrant from him. It will cost 1 Dark Crystal, and expires in 24 hours. Now let's get searching; look in all of the portals through out the Training Forest and you'll find him. He will look like your Knight Commander and will only be saying "..." When you do find him, talk to him and he will fight you. Defeat him, and collect the treasure he drops. Go back to your Knight Commander and you'll be done with the quest! You'll get 1 Skill Points, and a 3rd Job Book.

Cold Eyes: Level 40, 2,000 Health, gives 85 EXP
Location: Lab-Area B-3
Location: Sleepy Dungeon III

Comment about Cold Eyes: Pretty good EXP and it is possibly to find a Chaos Scroll (very rare though.) When training here start at the top and work your way towards the bottom (killing all Cold Eyes on the way.) Once your at the bottom change channel or enter the cash shop (which is a lot easier.) Exit the cash shop or switch channels and you will be at the top.

Comment: Pretty good training spot, however it will get crowded at peak times and during 2x EXP. If there is more then one person on the map then stand on the hummer and unleash your Fire Pillar (putting it in a macro will help a lot.) HOWEVER, if you are the only person on the map go Counter Clockwise around it and kill every Selkie Jr./Slimy on the platform you are on.

3rd Job
70-[Max flame gear]:
• Area of Blue Kentaurus ($ %% ) (much more viable if you went fire strike or half fire strike build*)

• Magatia PQ ($ %)
• Typhons (? have not personally tried)
• Goby houses (? have not personally tried)

[Max flame gear]-110:

• Crimsonwood Keep Entrance (%%% #) (beware of seal)
• Entrance to Spooky World (? have yet to try as is very crowded)
• Nest of a Dead Dragon (%%) (easy to get used to gear with)
• Encounter with the Buddha (? have not personally tried)
• Grave of a Wrecked Ship (%) (be wary of dispel)

110-120: (have not reached so cannot comment on training spots)
• Blue Wyvern Canyon
• Crimsonwood Keep Entrance
• Various high-level places in Leafre (experiment!)

At Level 60..

• Roids/Neo Huroids: 39%/Hour, very low chance of dieing, and gain decent mesos. This place is pretty good, good spawn, flat map, and you can even get a 60% Glove for Attack Scroll here to.

• Water Goblins: 31%/Hour, low chance of dieing, and gain slight mesos. This place also isn't great EXP/Hour but is less frustrating than Mountain Cliffs (or just requires less skill) and you'll gain a bit of mesos here.

• Selkie Jr./Slimy: 46%/Hour, low chance of dieing, gain decent mesos. I would recommend this place the most if you are a Level 60+ Blaze Wizard. Though you'll have to chance channels a few times to find a grinding place.

Q & A

Q: Does or need Skill/Mastery books?

A: No, you do not need Skill/Mastery books. You do the quest at level 100 and 110 to get them, and there Max Level will automatically be 20.

Q: Why is Build A - Slow recommended over Build B - Fire Arrow?

A: is only a little stronger then and will get replaced as soon as you get . will help you waste less potions, and can help at numerous training spots.

Q: Can you raise 's or 's Max level to 30 using Mastery Books?

A: No.

Q: Can you use books like these to get more skills for a Blaze Wizard?

A: Nope.

Q: Can I do New Leaf City's quest that gives a Glove for Attack scroll?

A: Nope, not even with . Fire Tusks are immune to Fire, so you'll have to get a friend to help you.

Q: Sweet, I just made my 3rd Job Advancement! Where can I get Meteor Shower?

A: Now hold on there! You have to wait until level 110 to get Meteor Shower !

Well, I just started training at Peak of the Big Nest yesterday and the only use I found for Seal was to let me climb ladders. Other than that, a skill like this doesn't seem to be all that great for fast training. Anyways, it's too late to take back what I did already. I'm gonna continue with Build A since the rest of the it seems to make sense.

Iron mutae are a decent choice for lvl 31-35 if you are lukless and have 100%'ed equips. CPQ is way better for xp once you can get in.

Q: Should I max pillar, 11 booster, and then max reset if i plan to do heavy pqing but also some solo training. Meditation is pointless due to elixirs that have the same effect, and max tele only gives me range and a lower cost. My build seems superior, but I wanted to know why it wasn't recommended. (I'm lvl 35 right now and have 1 tele and 15 pillar)

You can max everything except either slow or fire arrow depending on your preference, and most people (such as me) would rather not increase our already-large pot costs compared to regular mages (no mp eater, no mp recov) by unnecessarily skipping out on teleport and medi.

My question wasn't what to max but the order. I'd rather level faster than save a few mil on pots until I max meditation and teleport. BTW, meditation only saves you 40k in pots every hour. It's not that much money to begin with. Teleport could be more depending on how much you use it.

At level 36 you could get a friend to help you with the Scroll for Glove for Attack 60% Quest (in New Leaf City.) If your other characters haven't done it yet then do it with them also.

You could also try going to Leprechauns in the Haunted Forest (right next to the Haunted House in Masteria.)

I think you should take out the Gallopera training spot from Flame Gear build. They recover HP quite fast so I don't see it working.
