cookie4mesos: Don't even...? But yeah, I have seen it, and it doesn't display his beautiful eyes. I was comparing both pures, so if they both get FA, the PA is still likely faster. The PA will still be faster, but because FA pulls both down, the gap actually lessens. Once you hit third job, that FA might actually be worthwhile - you can completely replace Slash Blast with Fury almost right out the gate, while using Power Strike + Final Attack for single targets. That being said, I still prefer to know exactly what damage I'm throwing around, and not worry about random triggered FA, even if it does sometimes favor what I'm trying to do. FA is actually better for spears than PAs, because it's a 1:1 ratio, just for FA itself, though (FA adding one stab and one slash/swing animation).
