 I just thought I'd make a topic where Pages/WKs/Paladins can hang out and share their musings with others without needing to make a new topic. Opposing points of view are not only fine, but welcome - just be courteous, please. =) I'm in the middle of about a three-week layoff with my Paladin. I'm not really burned out - I take these breaks every so often to avoid that situation - but I have to admit that going to the same old places to level gets old after a while. There's actually lots of places to train other than Skellies or Time Temple, but the dropoff in xp is substantial. I keep telling myself that I'm playing to have fun, not to be looking at my xp bar every twenty minutes, but at the same time it's a little discouraging to be hunting for a couple hours and see almost no progress. Of course, we can train with the intent of making money, too. After all, there's comes a point where levelling up another time doesn't make much difference in your offensive output, but a significant equipment upgrade can. Only, if you ruin 95% of what you scroll that can be a downer too, haha. I'm on another of my bad streaks after making my Bellocce. I also should get back to my Wind Archer that I have linked to Shassia, who is only level 43. An extra 8 attack would be nice. The thing is, I started a Bandit and found her to be a lot more fun! She's almost 48, so she's starting to max Haste now. What a difference in overall speed compared to my slowpoke Paladin! On the other hand, I've grown used to being so durable and not having to pay much attention to my health points. That's a bad habit to get in to with other jobs. Also, lol at seeing "SB" and thinking, "Slash Blast? Thieves don't get Slash Blast... Oh, Savage Blow. Never mind. >.> " On the subject of builds: I've skipped Stance so far. I maxed ACB, Holy, HH, Blast and MW. I'm working on Achilles right now. I can understand why Stance is a good skill, but for someone like me who solo grinds 95% of the time and doesn't go hunting for Bigfoot, it has limited use. Achilles, however, saves me pot money and has literally saved my life a few times already. I'll probably get Stance next though - I can't see getting Guardian next and I'll never get Monster Magnet. P.S. I was pretty psyched to hit for my first 90k at Elderwraiths, and 1-hit KO my first Skellies! Though it doesn't happen even 10% of the time, yet. It's progress, though! ... and because I'm BW I'll routinely follow my 86k hit with like, 34k. ;) New Pic: My Reverse Bellocce

I just figured they might be pretty good because they're weak to fire and lightning.
Bought a 10Atk Sheild for 40m (got for free) and a Dragon Chair (20m worth 40m). So basically a free 10 Atk Sheild. :D
But don't have a 1H BW now soo... Well, lately I've had a huge inspiration to make a Paladin.
I quit a while ago because of technical issues. I'm incapable of playing pretty much any PC games because the right arrow key on my laptop keyboard is dysfunctional. I've tried fixing it but nothing seems to have any problems looking at it from under the keys. Anyway, I've been trying to get a hold of a USB keyboard but I don't own one. OT: I've been planning my future Paladin. I've come up with a name: Alfay Lol, pretty much all I've done except decide what look it will have and that it'll be a Dexless 2H BW Page. Well, I logged on my WK for the first time in some time because my priest guildy was begging me to himes with him, and compared to what I'm used to, the exp gain there is total insanity. Even though the priest died in a couple minutes due to lag, I was getting about a % per minute.
It made me actually want to play my WK more if I wasn't so lazy to play MS at all. im finally doing the oblivion quests, sucks with only 2 in HH though, but at least it's something different for a change.
well my semi-fellow pallys, i wish i could say all this stuff about being 100+ or having cool weaps and dmg, but i am stuck on 2nd job. im not much for getting from 30-70 altho i did fine after that with my bandit. i am hoping i will soon make it too enjoy the awesomeness of WK, no matter how slow training is. all suggestions from you guys is much appreciated.

I believe today is the most successful day of my entire existence as a WK. Not just 1 level, but TWO. I feel so accomplished now, and was pretty happy after some party training.

Well, I was unable to find pretty much any of those weapons in the FM in Bellocan. Let alone scrolled well. I think I happened upon a doomsinger clean for 10mil. >.> Register / login
