Whats the difference between a Hero and a Paladin?

 What about damage wise? Paladins seem like they would do more damage, but only against elemental weak monsters. Would you normally train against those elementally weak monsters anyway? I want to decide which path to take, so if there is anything you would think is helpful, please let me know. Click here if you think this post is particularly interesting or helpful.

Phaxen: I read the stickies the first day i came to basil... They obviously didn't do you a great lot of good. DaiFlu: to bad u probably got hit every 2 seconds to do it constantly, heroes are more efficient at zak hands down :I dont forget heavens hammer bud =) DanishDude1: Ya, but if Stance fails and knocks you into BF, it could potentially kill you. Also Elderwraiths hit like 1.5k. Say you have 11k HP, just enough to survive BF. Elderwraith hits you, knocks you into BF, you die. Of course it's not gonna make a huge difference, and I'm not trying to bash Paladins at all, but it's just a factor to consider. You forgot that once your hit, you become invulnerable for a few seconds. You should be able to pot in time. who plays defensively? o.o

not gona flame but hey each group has its own benefits and when it comes to bossing pallys and heroes are coming in head to head depending on which boss so its all good i love seeing white knights i always add em to meh bl cuz they're unique
notagimmick: Impossible. o-o ACB's vertical range does not span nearly the entire screen last time I checked. F3 If you stand in the right spot, Hammer does hit them all, yes. It's nice, but still doesn't compare to a Hero's DPS. I've got a couple of SS of the bottom three getting hit, but I definitely saw the top right taking hits as well. If any part of the paladin path is hell, then it's 110 - 123, but even then it's a LOT easier than it used to be. rage gets me into parties, so there isnt really so much of a problem. and whoever said dont forget hh in regards to zk, it doesnt work on bosses. Heaven's hammer works on bosses and rage in later levels will get you KICKED/shunned out of parties. Simply, rage is nothing special and not particularly useful. iCeTeA15: He's just asking, why must everyone flame someone who does not read stickies? When I was new here I did not read stickies. He's just a newcomer, go easy. Theyre not really flaming, Theyve been saying how people would normally say it. Its not like they said "HEY NOOB GO READ STICKIE U SO DUMB". OT: Paladins can do extremely high damage at bf with blast and it attacks decently fast too. Also theyre great for suicide leeches when the leech buyer is relatively low levelled and miss alot, cuz they can reduce the bf hp to exactly one with heaven hammer. They do have to weaken bf to 300k hp or under first and then use it but overall its safer and easier when they sell suicide leeches. There are really pro hero and drk suicide leech sellers too its just leaving it at 1 hp is better than anything else. HEROES FTW!

And Paladins have a 2% advantage over Heroes on BF, not exactly pwn'ing them. They are pretty much equal on BF, the only advantage Heroes have is that they can hit 3 monsters instead of 1, in case a Jr. Wrath or Elderwraith gets in the way.
