Well im wondering whether i should max drain or darksight, and i dont see myself using drain. Does drain ever become useful?

It's very useful. You'll max both anyway(depends on what you drop later).

It depends on the person. Personally, I've used it from level 5x to level 90-ish and only used like 500 pots during my training thanks to it. If you know how to time it correctly, you don't really have to waste attacks and use it as a finisher as well as to heal yourself at the same time. Rather there are some people NEVER uses it at all.

It really depends on you, whether or not you want to max it or not. You also able to max both of the skills near the end of 3rd job as well.

Max dark sight first. Dark sight is gonna help you get pass alot of things. When you solo HH, he cant hit you when your in dark sight

never max Dark sight the last thing u put points into with your 1st job is darksight .. and u should max claw booster and leave drain at 28 dont waste points for booster/ or darksight going back in job

Never max Dark Sight? o.O Many people max it at the end of 3rd job, since it allow you can DS without the speed reduction (you stay in haste). It helps a lot in traveling and soloing bosses such as Paps on the second body.

Or you meant don't go using the 2nd job points into DS? If so, I would also agree.

Also, you last part of your post contradict one another. You said to max Claw Booster one second, and then you don't waste points for booster. o.O

Edit: "the last thing u put points into with your 1st job is darksight" Huh? Many people max out DS at the 1st job as well. Since Nimble Body only gives +10 more ACC/Avoid from level 10 to max, you would be able to skip maxing that and max DS instead, as you will have enough ACC/Avoid from DEX and LUK anyways.

I don't use drain AT ALL. Max darksight, I find it more useful.
