About the Typhon Glitch and Nexon in general.

 Bagging on Nexon isn't my first priority. I'm not just saying things like this just because I'm completely pissed that I missed out on my 4XP and am having all of my NX gear go to waste. I'm saying this because I, like thousands of other players, have noticed Nexon's decline in their ability to satisfy us, their customers, over the past few months. Quite frankly, when things like this happen to SO many people at the same time and under the same circumstance, and Nexon does NOTHING to address the problem for weeks on end, we ARE being screwed over. They're total lack of presence and concern pretty much attests to this. Even in-game, you rarely feel or think of the presence of a GM, and the times when they actually are on in-game, they come on to play silly games like hide-and-seek. Nexon really needs to step up in terms of customer satisfaction. I remember in April where they said they were improving, hiring new staff and working more on satisfying their customers and on making the game more enjoyable. They also stressed the point that "[They] would do their best to address our issues, and continue their improvement over the coming months." It seems to me that they have almost completely went back on this promise, because as the independent (a.k.a private) servers died down, this talk of "improvement" faded into the background. Having a few people find a better experience on a server not run by them just so happens to cut into their profits. This little glitch would be the perfect chance for the people at Nexon to show us that they care. And while they're fixing this glitch, how about fixing all the other little issues that seem to plague this game, like the 7 day market glitch or all the little grammar problems. It can all come in little steps but they need to keep up to their promise of improvement. I'm sorry if this has turned into an all-out rant but I felt that these are things that had to be said. I think nexon should hold put on new content for about one patch and go through all the glitches and try to fix them. at least they fixed the trade glitch after the previous patch.... Bt that was maaaajor. But that was my favorite glitch. I went on a random account, set it to block trades, and when to channel 1, trading everyone I saw. Magically, the channel cleared out rapidly  Then, they would spawn in the same area, and I could retrade them, and VIOLA! the same thing happens. But back to the topic at hand. Personally, being kicked off maple for a matter of minutes (if that) that can be solved by blocking trades is not nearly as "maaaajor" as being banned for a month for simply training. If you aren't going to fix it ASAP, at least let us know you are working on the issue! Otherwise, you get us grumpy basilers sitting here with nothing to do but gripe. Like i said, nexon needs better management. They need to seriously just test the patch and on the day, put it up so everyone can use it. Do you know what i hate.. The missing pixel in the chat box.. ever since the "Reactor.wz" stuffed up.. there's been a missing pixel so you can't see Underscores.. (_'s) Also matchcards/omok/trade box have stuffed up with the typing bar.. (not sure if they fixed)

Nexon probably has like 1% of their people on customer service (with most of them working on those automated messages and seeing if they can make more) and then another say 3% working on coding with a couple people testing it (without even trying 4x exp or anything special) and then about 3% as GMs for all the servers, then the other 93% as marketing managers with a team of lawyers for lawsuits :D They manage to send the message far and wide, I see their terrible ads popping up on random websites (I saw one on my mom's neopets account before she got adblock, so yes they do send it everywhere they can) and yet, they can't get the message through their own company that things are not working (or if they did, they couldn't get a message back saying they are fixing it and please tell the general public about this). GG nexon! Another thing to add on top of all the other garbage they throw at us. @above, and don't forget that their swear filter blocks enter (if you hit the button enter, not type it out) so half my BBS posts, I can no longer edit without destroying, and I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why my new BBS was blocked (I copied the entire thing and pasted it line by line for a friend to see over guild chat, and no errors popped up, because I didn't include the part where I pressed enter a couple of times) The problem is about this matter isn't that it's just a weenie bug like let's say the GOPQ (sorry to the GOPQ haters) or the platform glitch; it's a rather major bug that's indirectly linked to money. If you just uploaded a bunch of NX (i.e. money) and you get banned that money is potentially down the drain. Assuming you'll be permaed. If it's a 30 or 90 day ban you'll still be able to use the NX since it takes a year or so to expire, But anyway, since money's involve Nexon or whoever is in charge of bug repair could maybe try a bit harder. :S Even though once uploaded and converted into NX the money has already been deposited on Nexon's bank account. Same for the MTS bug. I don't know if that's been fixed yet.
I think that in the case of the MTS bug they should at least take the MTS down to be sure people who don't about it yet don't lose large quantities of NX, which is again already on Nexon's bank account in money-form. These bugs don't directly affect Nexon. The company is indirectly affected by people quitting or boycotting (boycots never worked so far; not enough people took part), but for Nexon to really hurry a bug will have to affect it directly. I had the most fun at ereve (no idea why the character was there, but that's where I started out) You get tons of newer players, just creating their CK and they have no idea about this glitch, and no friends yet to tell them (my alliance informed me shortly before I ran around doing this) so I had loads of fun chasing down those newbies. But yes, this probably only marginally affects their profits, so there is a lack of motivation there. Add into the fact that there are MANY people simply too lazy to train at typhons (sniping at newties or whatnot) or cannot get to the map (that JQ is a killer when you haven't done it before, Mark of Heroism FTW) so not enough people come to the map to be a red alert to nexon to kick up their game and get on this glitch  juliettekawaii: .. glitch are espeically hard to notice.. we are human , not gods , not perfect.. that glitch for auto-banding might involve with core programing of the game for that area. Well I would always space out my paragraphs, so it wasn't one huge block of text, and then "sign" it with -Worcdomnie Or something similar to that. I went back to edit a BBS about the family system (was looking for a jr in the guild, editing the levels since I leveled) and it told me I was swearing. I could have changed it, but I rather like my signature at the bottom so I hit cancel. Glitches that aren't obvious suck. Like I said earlier, I got lucky with this one, being that I went to newties instead of typhons. kevinhbk: OMG i know right.
