 Good thing not all my items were on this acc, but still I took a great loss. Probably 1bil+ worth of items and equipment and 14k NX One stupid thing the hacker did was probably gift the nx to himself and through that I can probably get NEXON to take some action against this. Also they took my Pooh Pooh Shovel, which is the only one in Windia (I'm like 95% sure) I have a couple of suspects, but I would just wish NEXON in the future would help against hackers. P.S. yea its usful but it has glitch the item will disapper after the expries date over
i dont know if nexon fixed it or not yet The thing is people assume that the victims gets their keyloggers because they went to malicious websites. I've been hacked and thought someone went to those websites on my pc, I looked at my cookies my history.... nothing. Turns out i got a keylogger from my school where i use my usb drive to transfer my work and continue them at home. So stop accusing people like that they are many ways to get a keylogger

I got a keylogger last week. And I wonder if I got it from Basil...
Good luck. I'd probably change pw and pin, and not play on the account for a while... AHHH! I got hacked recently too. A few weeks ago I got hacked and was lucky to get my accounts back because I (admittedly) stupidly had my maple story login the same as my emails and so he took over my emails and my MS. It took me a long time but luckily I got my stripped account back and my two emails. I made a thread and mentioned that I think maple story has bad security in the first place. Jerk basilers just responded by telling me how sick I was blaming Maple Story. I was seriously always so carful with my login and password though. So I just mentioned how it seems like players of maple are always getting hacked, but they were all set on laughing at my losses. They kept saying things like, "You’re an idiot for getting hacked,” and “There isn’t a way you can get hacked unless you gave out your info.” Plus, people liked to use their magic word, KEYLOGGER! “OHHH boy! You got yourself a key logger. You must have visited a web page with one.” These people act like if you visit a webpage you get logged. F3 uggg so annoying. The only way I could think of that I got hacked was that someone at my school might have installed a keylogger on our lab, and I had the same pass for basil and for my MS. (yes stupid again) I logged onto basil sometimes on my schools lab, but never MS. Still, I didn’t think I was in any real danger because our school keeps anyone from using .exe files on their computer and it has a ton of really strict security on my campus computers for what you can and can not do. I have never played ms on any computer but my own. So, getting on basil was the only thing I could think of. Who would have guessed some college geek was watching me and wanted to steal my pass. That seems like such a small possibility that some maple story weirdo went into our labs, sees me on basil, put a keylogger on all our computers, some how passed all the securities on our computers that don’t let you install anything, just because he wanted my stuff. That’s the only explanation I can think of though. Well, besides thinking maple story must have some sort of security flaw that I’m not aware of. I should research it more. It just seems so doubtful that me logging on basil in my college lab a few times, got me hacked. No matter what the reason, it would have been nice to get some support, even though I did a couple of stupid things like having the same passwords for multiple things. Instead, I just got spit at and told, "Maybe you will be carful next time idiot." Basilers are sooo cold these days. I feel you pain man. @_@
@Br333, it's indeed not nice, some basil peeps prefer to be ignorant and pretend to "knowitall" and simply start to flame. Consider yourself as a better person and ignore them.
For all the flaming persons, consider yourself lucky that you don't got caught (yet). You have seen a lot of similar threads, and still you prefer to flame, poor you, it's sad that this is all you can come up with. Flaming instead of helping. But it doesnt make sense that someone that can hack you without keylogger or personal info, would be stealing maple accts...I'd imagine them stealing something more important,like credit cards.
Most people just get hacked because they acct share. Im only saying don't be blind for the possibilities. There are offices selling mesos for real $, they do not care for credit card info, they need accounts to rip and to sell the mesos. We are dealing with smart educated people and it's their job, don't you think that when hackers are able to hack the CIA offices and such, that they cannot hack your poor pc at home?
Lothaire: Thanks for your guy's support, I don't no if I should transfer money from my other accs cuz after I reset my pass and pin, I hope I won't be hacked again. It's a lvl 105 spear from gacha, it's not that good but its pretty rare in Windia I was hacked the same way i changed everything my birthday on my email my pin my pw everything and its been like a year now and im still standing. Congratulations on being hacked guys! I salute thee!

make sure u wont go on em again
and u will be safer
i have been playing ms for 4 years and hacked once from ayear ago
and im still playing fine with out getting hacked case i dont go these websites
i think u should countine playing by ur acc since u spent alot of money on it
