I have a question for atheists. You believe that "something" sparked life right? Would you consider that a God, because in religious terms, that is a God? Or do you believe that life just appeared out of nowhere?
Even if evolution existed, which is probably the case, there must be something or someone that sparked evolution. For example, we all learned about spontaneous generation in ninth grade; it's virtually impossible to create life from non-life. So, my question is: We all know something must have sparked life. Is that God? Side-question: Is it even possible to consider yourself an atheist with that knowledge? Click here if you think this post is particularly interesting or helpful.

I believe that we have yet to prove how life began, and personally, I don't care. If someone gives me a legitimate answer, I'll accept it.

Well, with our body of knowledge, we know that life couldn't have just "began". Life cannot come from non-life. So.. my question is.. do atheists believe something that sparked life? No (not an Atheist, but still understands the mentallity), as a God is not merely a creator, but a supernatural intermediary between the spiritual and physical.

Don't be silly. You can most definitely form organic molecules from two inorganic molecules. Just look at urea.

All that early life was was the natural movement of organic molecules working together. Osmosis, diffusion, etc. Eventually, it formed into more grander things like DNA and multi-celled organisms, but you have to consider that this is over BILLIONS and hundreds of millions of years. You're thinking of spontaneous generation as "poof here's a human", which is how religion looks at it...that's not what spontaneous generation is at all.
