TheKid: Yeah, it's the state's decision.
But districts are much much much smaller than a state. :P
So 50 different schooling systems is better than thousands. :D
(private schools are exempted)

10th Grade, Honors Pre Calculus. Taking AP Calculus BC next year. Oh, and my friend did AP Calculus BC in 9th grade.

@Thekid, AP Calculus is actually calculus at some schools. And people at my school usually don't continue to BC after AB.

Geometry - 10th grade. Should be in Alg. 2 right now, but dam counselor sucks. I had alg 1 in 8th grade, barely passed but I knew the material and then my high school counselor puts me back in Alg 1(even though I signed up for geometry), during my freshman year which I pass with a perfect 100% every quarter, and she has the nerve to ask me why I didn't take Geometry if I under stood Alg 1... Over here high school math classes go

AP Calc AB is the 'first' part, then follows AP Calc BC. There is not AP calculus. There is just AB and BC.

Math Analysis (Pre-cal first semester, trigonometry second semester)
AP Calculus AB OR IB Mathematics SL
AP Calculus BC OR IB Mathematics SL OR IB Mathematics HL
IB Mathematics HL (considered the hardest math course at my school, and the IB Mathematics HL test is supposedly one of the hardest tests ever)
