Am I the only American that hates professional football?

 Like the sport itself is fun to play. I enjoy playing touch tackle and such. But I don't see why people enjoy paying 20 million to these cruel people and watch them beat each other down for 3 hrs. Most football players have those seriously mean faces. Blah, the sport really requires no talent. You only need to be strong and fast. i find football pointless and lame. all they do is throw the ball, the guy catches it, runs like a few inches, get tackles, and they repeat. O_O
NerdyMapleGeek: I agreed with you until that point. I pretty much agree with Panicka now I'm not attacking americans. I meant by football is only popular in the US. It's not like soccer,Olympic sports and tennis. Where the entire world play the same sports. Football sucks. Its all about Futbol.

Aminer: Blah, the sport really requires no talent. You only need to be strong and fast. Just be strong and fast? You may not appreciate it because you're so closed-minded, but football is a thinking game too. For example, linebackers have to be able to read the offense and react on the fly. Quarterbacks, obviously, have to not only make a good decision but have enough precision to execute it properly. And requires no talent? To be a professional football player, you need an unparalleled work ethic and genetics. Only a few people have those two traits; in fact, since most kids this generation are so lazy I'd call the work ethic a prime talent. I'd like to see you try and play football. Also, in the offseason, my school required 4 hours of practice a day for varsity. And I went for the addition 1.5 hours of lifting and track whenever I could. And don't say I'm a jock because I'm 16 in college now. New Blog: College @ 16
