What Are Your Thoughts On Legalizing Marijuana?

 Tell me what you think about why it would be good or bad or both, in legalizing weed. Anything that you inhale is bad to your health someway. But the worse thing with marijuana is the damage toward your lungs. You will not feel lit until several years after smoking. Your middle ages. MaikuX3: Why in the hell would marijuana/THC be even remotely compared to saliva? Oh wait, I forgot, conservative Texans (aka opposite land) have this type of logic. It's compared to salvia because it's a narcotic plant. That's all that matters. Salvia's only legal because of a technicality, i.e. salvinorins A and B are nothing close, chemically, to any federally scheduled substance. Even though you and I may know that marijuana and salvia are very different, the ones making the rules, aka Congress hurr durr, doesn't get the difference. And honestly, does anyone in bleeding head-up-the-ass Liberalville know how stupid you're making them look? You might want to venture out a little bit and stop making everything about political affiliation and ideology. My argument is about practicality, as you may have seen in the dozen or so other marijuana legalization threads I've posted in. Get your head out of the ground and think for yourself. Pro: Doesn't do a lot of damage to your body
Con: It still does some wear-and-tear to your body. Pro: Easier to obtain medical marijuana Con: Most people will use it for recreational uses Con: Increased smoking (I know smoking is only one of the ways you can inhale marijuana) Con: If you do that, the street vendors will probably have marijuana-laced brownies. Con: High dependence Lol, you guys need to chill out and stop overreacting. You're all treating it as if though the day that marijuana becomes legalized everyone will be getting stoned out of their minds 24/7 and nothing will get done leading to the downfall of society.
All I gotta say is lay off the dramatics and start thinking realistically. Alcohol is perfectly legal, and way WAY more debilitating to be under the influence of in normal society. How many people do you see getting drunk at work? Out of all those people how many people have gotten in serious trouble from it? Now why, all of a sudden, is marijuana use immune to such ideas such as common sense, common courtesy, and serious repercussions if used irresponsibly? It's not, you all just think it is cause it's illegal. if would be awesome actually. i don't do any druggies of the sort, but people are getting medical licenses to legally possess it, and some negotiations between countries would be at peace :P

Make it legal. IT should be that you can only smoke it in your house anywhere else is illegal. And if cops can tell your stoned in public, then yes you get ticketed or something.
