Ppl who spends tons of money in nx , why dont u play WoW? I mean its better , faster to get to max lvl , more fun flying mounts , raids , tons of variety of class/races....
This is not a troll thread im just really trying to figure out why some ppl on maple story can pay 500$ a month of nx but they can't pay for WoW (15$ a month) cause they say its too expensive... Click here if you think this post is particularly interesting or helpful.

I like the simplicity of Maple. WoW was too much for me when I tried it. It's alot more quest based then Maple, which isn't something I enjoyed. By the time I was level 20 in WoW, I was frustrated enough by the high number of quests that when NPC's gave me quests, I wanted to say: "Go do it yourself and eff yourself while you're at it." Maplestory is just grind, grind, grind. Most people don't like that, but I enjoy not having to do stuff for dozens of NPCs to level.

Why not say it in english? AnsomeX2: i personally dislike 3D games because of the controlls they have. All 3D games have Skills on keys F1-F9 which is really bad considering that F keys are all the way on the top of the keyboard and even if i get my hands on F keys i only manage F1-F4, Also 3D games require alot of clicking, click to move, click to attack, click to talk, click to select, click to use skills, click to do anything. Only reason i like 3D games is because of characters and big worlds, alot of exploring and huge selection of quests, CGI movies and good graphics. if controls were a bit better then maybe i'd consider switching from 2D to 3D. On the other hand most 2D games use simple commands like arrow keys to move. ALT/Space to jump. q/w/e/r/t/y or a/s/d/f/g/h or z/x/c/v/b to attack or some even offer full keyboard like ms does, so placing skills on any key is fine. Things i dont like about 2D games is the lack of exploration. when you walk through the town you cant just go hide behind some house or look whats on the other side of that shop. WYSIWIG (if you are a programmer you'll know this term) I've been playing WoW for four years, they have better controls than Maplestory, Imo. You also can keybind any of keys for any skills, controls, etc. Most of people usually change keys for controls, for example. I use WASD instead of Arrows, I use WASD and mouse at same time (Usually pro do that, it's better for PvP and stuff. I use some of keys for skills, I still use 1-12 hotkeys because there's more than like 30 skills and no room for more keys, so the rest would be just other keys (like ctrl+6 or ';./) or clicking on the screen, on the right or bottem. Also, it's VERY easy to talk compared to Maplestory, all you do is click Enter to talk (Just like maplestory) WoW and Maplestory has similar chat system, however, WoW is easier, for example, when someone whispered you, you just pressed Enter and then R to whisper to this guy who whispered you. For guild, you press Enter then press G, went to guild chat. And so go on. It's simple, really. AnsomeX2: i personally dislike 3D games because of the controlls they have. Because maplestory is more social than any other game I've tried including WoW.
Let them be, because of them, the game is still free.
Because I don't want to be one of those WoW nerds.
TumiAge: Because my chem teacher plays WoW. Wtf fool my chem teacher plays it too :o I'd have to say it's because I can buy NX when I want, but I HAVE to pay the $15 when it's due.
Flexibility. BowmanD00D: I'd have to say it's because I can buy NX when I want, but I HAVE to pay the $15 when it's due. Flexibility. *cough* Game Card *cough* *cough* Credit Card Subscriptions *cough* Simple. The fact that its required pay to play sets most people off already, and as far as conversion goes once you play maple its hard to get into other games.
