 If you had to choose one religion to believe in, which religion would it be? Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc. Another question: Which religion, in your opinion, seems the most realistic? Click here if you think this post is particularly interesting or helpful.

None of them seem realistic, why do you think people become atheists?
What im seeing is alot of people are saying " id be ____ because my parents are or because thats the only one i know about "
If i was Atheist, which im not, and was gonna pick a religion, id take a year finding about different religions, properly instead of just hearing random BS then pick the religion. Listing: Guild - LaidBack lvl 70+

Cause I used to go to ....church...and pray...and believe in god. And I have a bible. I'd become a Catholic because the Pope is a sucessor to Peter.
spencerftw: I would choose Christianity because it's more diverse than say.. Hinduism or Islam (Ironic, I just learned about these 1week ago in global) However it does not make sense to me that Jesus would dissapear for 2000 years.. ( or is it less? Lelouch: Just because we have conflicting beliefs doesn't mean mine is false. That's just being ignorant. Though you can argue your side and I can argue mine. I'm perfectly fine with that. I like hearing other peoples' opinions. I didn't say your was false, My first statement was just to make sure for you that wanting something doesn't make it true, and that you afterwards puts words into my mouth is ignorant because you have no idea about what i believe, obviously. thats where it begins to be anoying, when you suddenly assume that i believe that life came from water, when i already rejected this claim in the other thread. I would choose Buddhism, because it focuses a lot of having values and exploring and training your inner self; a lot about philosophy and important/interesting things without telling me that I have to perform them or go to hell.

Sort of off topic: For those who say buddism has no god may i ask why? Just asking cause I have been to a chinese and japanese style budhist temple and from what I can see there were figures of the gods that people worship too. And isnt buddha a prophet because he was perfect and he tryed to show people his perfection showing how he had to reincarneat to the last perfect form? Also what sort of buddhism are some reffering too just asking cause the ones I know are the chinese and japanese styled ones but I guess there may be more? Not offending or arguing against anybody I just want to know what you think >. I'd follow buddhism, because the whole 'treating everything with respect' fits me to a tee :P

Isn't the most common form the kind depicted loosely in the 'Journey To The West' tale? With numerous gods for many aspects of nature, etc.
I'm no expert, just taking a stab in the dark lol. *shrug* id pick mormon becuase they were the ones that were allowed into heaven in south park. hey ask a stupid question u will get a stupid answer.
