 As a rule, an intelligent discussion/debate in Basilmarket does not equate to basil drama, simply because... the people who embroil themselves in Basil drama... are not intelligent. People in Basilmarket can be upset over many things, such as a popular person resigning or being fired, whom the people express an idolatry towards (like a mod for example). These usually result in massive flame wars. And excessive bandwagoning, for the people who want to get a piece of the pie. I am very sure this results in uneeded rage, the Basil community is engulfed in flames afterwards. Even the catalysts, or the orchestrators of the action, are rarely ever intelligent either. If anybody has anything new to contribute to the war, or someone who has an objection to the plaintiff's aspersions, the instigators who incited the drama rarely go beyond other than denouncing them as "bandwagoners and parrots," but when they do this, it is in such an inconspicuous manner, that people find it hard to object. This also kills any usefullness the debate might have. If you have an incriminating edvidence to add, the starters of the drama will want a screenshot, when a screenshot is provided, it will be labeled "faked and edited." What's the point of trying to dissuade people from believing people's opening statements to basil drama... if they are reject any concept of logics? Eventually, when the starters of the drama have had their fill, they simply rage quit the 411 network, and encouraged any of the people that back them (which can be a lot of people) to follow suit. And the community is fractured. Drama like this is the reasons other people just point and laugh whenever Basilmarket is brought up (the same case with any politcal debate the devolved into a flame war). Before anybody with a guilty conscience or harboring a feeling of contrition start posting, keep in mind that nobody is being singled out, and this is, simply, being addressed to the entire Basilmarket community as a whole, as a request to change it's ways. I can therefore conclude, that Basil Drama, is indeed, the stupidest drama, and I propose adding a rule #11, a rule that explicitly bans inciting any type of Basil Drama. This Rule #11 should also be a global rule on the 411 network, this will prevent people from posting about mods and then scurrying and telling people to "follow them to profil3 because that's all I can say here" (The Truth Blog for example). Where the dearth of moderation (and strangely, you can't report blogs) allows for such Drama. That my friend, is my idea for ending all Basil Drama. Drama in basil is quite entertaining. As If I wanna see it in TV.
In my opinion, I don't think we have to create a rule just only for Basil Drama. It's already bannable by other rules. I don't think it's worthy to have stand alone rule for itself. And I'm not kind off impressed to see you using these big words because it sounds like you're trying too hard, ok, there's nothing wrong if you use those words anyways. There's no rules about it but I don't like the way you just use different words and create lots of sentences when you're just going around in one point. In my opinion it doesn't suit your subject. The vast majority of this supposed "drama" is against the rules by very nature of the things that come up and cause drama most of the time.
Does it need its own rule? I think not. That you're the one that posted it doesn't help one bit considering your role in previous drama/s.  Kevvl: 20$ says it was the TS. It was me, hand the money. Blazeeeee: Can someone tell me what this "drama" is? General overreacting, I think. Not 100% sure but... many Basilers have the habit to take things very seriously and then threaten people about it. I was for example wished dead over the following things (by Basilers): 1. I'm European 2. I'm a girl 3. I have a tanned character 4. I'm a CB 5. I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay too old to Maple 6. I had access to Oodoos because of my timezone (while others couldn't find a map due to crowdedness) 7. I misspelled "January" (spelled it as "januari") 8. Apparently I'm gay o_O" 9. My character isn't of my gender etc etc... The guy who wished me dead over the Oodoos was a F/P Mage telling me to go die in a fire and he didn't exactly liked it when I replied "Whip your wand and do it to me, baby!" Notable stuff has been the deletion of the first Secret Thread, Kevvl's "aya," the controversy Vysper stirred up, Angramainyu becoming mod, and (specifically relating to TS) the fighting between ZappyPants and FrozenInSilver. ZappyPantz: I never parrot. I learn. lol. no. But, let me propose something. If the TS responds in this thread by November 7, 12:02 BT we consider this idea.
